My name is Jeff Brooker and I have lived in San Diego for nearly a decade. I am a husband and father first. I am also a 32 yr old attorney who loves to write about politics, religion and fantasy. And yes, there's quite a bit of overlap. :) I also play football and basketball. In addition, I love the outdoors and travel frequently.
I have been writing as a hobby for many years, so finally, at the behest of friends and family, I have become a student to the art, and initiated the process of transition from hobby to a legitimate shot. I have a 160,000 word novel in the editing phase and have completed a few short stories. I plan to use this forum to give everyone an opportunity to read and critique my work as it develops. I am a junkie for current political happenings and can answer just about any sci-fi geek question as well (especially Star Wars).
Feel free to read away, e-mail me, or voice concerns re: Politics, Sci-F-/Fantasy, Writing, Sports, or whatever.... I'm always open to comment and criticism so don't be afraid to bring it. I'm game.
