This site's mission is to document and analyse the rapid growth and modernization of the Red Chinese navy, known as the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN), and put that growth and modernization into perspective in the current geo-political situation as it relates to US vital interests in general, and as it relates particularly to the US Navy in the Western Pacific (WESPAC).
