Marcus Reed was appointed the Executive E-911 Director for the Jefferson County Emergency Communications District on September 1, 2005 after a five month long application and interview process by the Board of Directors.
Marcus has resided in Jefferson City with his wife for the past nine years, he is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Marine Corps and has worked for various communication company's in Knoxville. He has an organizational management degree from Tusculum College.
