Currently I am flying an Align T-Rex 500CF that is completely stock. I am using the Stock Align 1600kv motor, Stock Align ESC, white Align carbon blades, Hitec 5245mg servos, Futaba GY401 gyro, a Futaba S9252 tail servo, and an AR7000 spektrum receiver. To go along with my heli, I am flying with the JR X9303 2.4 radio wihch is one of the best heli radios on the market today (other than the new JR 12X comming out late spring, or the Futaba 14mz radio). 
In the picture above, you can also see a Flightpower battery. So far, it is one of the best batteries I have tried for the Trex. It is the ProLite 2500mah 6s pack! It is only a 18c battery, but it has more than enough power to really huck the 500 around and keep up with the 25c packs. I am also flying my T-Rex with some Evo25 packs that I run in series, and I plan on getting one of the new Kong Power packs to try out in my 500 down the line.
Alright guys, I am really excited about this new heli that I am picking up in the next couple of weeks. Some of you may have seen the build vids done by Finless Bob over on HeliFreak.com, and some may have seen the review in the new RCHeli Magazine. This looks like it will be one of the most dominating 450s on the market today, and is definitely already giving the T-Rex450 a run for its money!
My first thoughts on this little guy are pretty good! From what I have seen in the videos, and what I have also seen in the build vids from Finless, the heli looks to be well designed with lots of great ideas put into it! The frame design is completely unique, and supports a chrome/silver anodized head that really stands out with the heli. Advantage Hobby, right now is the only place that sells the BEAM and they are only an Online dealer. (As far as I know)
