February 27, 1996 - Pocket Monsters Aka (Red) and Midori (Green) released in Japan
1996 - Shortly after the release of Pocket Monsters Aka and Midori, Ao (Blue) version was released in Japan but exclusive through Coro Coro Magazine
September 12, 1998 - Pocket Monsters Pikachu released in Japan
September 30, 1998 - Pokémon Red and Blue released in the USA
October 10, 1999 - Pocket Monster Blue released in public in Japan
October 19, 1999 - Pokémon Yellow released in the USA
