The PCUK Convention Great Yarmouth 1897

'Yarmouth was en fete so far as the weather was concerned. to receive the early Monday's contingent, a blazing sun which only shone as we entered the land of the Broads, and with a somewhat keen wind one felt that if the week was to be as the small sample that we had then it must be a success.'  (The Photographic News July 16 1897)

This cartoon from the Photographic News shows a Convention member photographing 'The Bloater Family' and thanking them for their hospitality during his stay in Yarmouth
