1. Some one e-mailed me saying that my parents were disgusting people for letting me have pet rats. "You know that they will eat you in your sleep and they are the dirtiest creatures in the world." Exact words. I e-mailed her back correcting her and she hasn't replied.
2. (While Playing Outside) One lady walked by and stopped and stared at Jazz then turned her head sideways and walked by.
3. (While Playing Outside) Two women walked by and one said 'aww what a cute rat.' The other looked like she was going to puke (they were also walking a rather ugly dog). As they walked away they made gagging and puking sounds and so I said loudly 'Oh what an ugly dog!'. The women who seemed to dislike Jazz stopped and turned around utterly shocked then marched off. Her friend followed, laughing at her.
4. A little girl thought Milly was cute and kept asking questions. 'Why can't you hold them by their tails?' 'Do they bite?' 'Do they run away?' 'Can you touch their head?' 'Would you touch their tail?' And so many other questions. It was kind of cute.
5. I was playing with Jazz outside and my neighbor saw Jazz and asked me to show Jazz to her. She said Jazz was cute but the tail was creepy. So I help up Jazz's tail and kissed it. I think she nearly lost her dinner.
6. Some teens walked by and asked me if I needed their snake to eat my rat. -.-
7. A teen walks by and stops looks at Maggie and asks 'is that a rat?' I told him it was and he said cool.
8. I showed some friends/classmates some pics of the girls on World Rat Day and most of them called them pests and possesed but a few of them said they were cute.
9. A random stranger at PETsMART asked about how many pets I had (apparently over 20 is a lot), and was surprised to hear six rats on the list. At first he mentioned the plague and rabies but later admitted that he had always wanted a pet rat himself. I then had to promise not to tell anyone else, for fear of being considered weird. o.0
