Loving my bRats

Jazz

Jazz is my very first rat. I got her from a little chain pet store called Pet Value. She lived in a little cage all alone for over 5 or 6 months. My parents finally let me take her home July 1 2007 and on July 3 she was already warming up to me. She is a sweet and friendly girl who just loves to be with people. Jazz passed away on April 2, 2009.

Milly

Milly is my second rat. She was not litter mates with Jazz but she did come from the same pet store that I got Jazz from. She is a little sweetie although she is very nosey and I am certain she thinks she is a dentist as she is always checking out my mouth. She sometimes suffers from panic attacks. Milly is very kissy and loves to give kisses. Milly passed away October 1 2009.

Maggie

I got Maggie from a larger chain pet store formally called Super Pets now called PJ Pets. I just fell in love with her! She had been jumping up and down in the front of the tank everytime I walked by. Maggie is also a rex which means she has curly fur. She is always giving kisses and grooming me and is a sweet friendly girl. She loves coming out and sitting in my hands. Maggie passed away August 6, 2009.

Nattie

I got Nattie along with Maggie to keep her company. She is rather shy but once she warms up to you she is very sweet and enjoys scritches. She is very quick and boy can she run! I often let he run from hand to hand to burn off some energy. Although she is shy she is also mischevious! She likes to steal things, hide and run away.

Bambi

Bambi is actually from two provinces away from me! She is from New Brunswick originally but during the 'Great Canadian Rat Train' Bambi and her cagemate hitched a ride from New Brunswick to Québec then to Toronto, Ontario and eventually to my city. She is a chubby girl but she is sweet and loves snuggles. She is sometimes shy at first when it comes to exploring new places but once she is comfortable she is very adventurous. Bambi passed away on September 18, 2009.

Beauty

Beauty is also from the 'Great Canadian Rat Train' and she also traveled a long distance to come to her forever home. She is a true shoulder rat and once she gets comfortable she is not afraid to brux her heart out. She is also rather chubby but she is enjoying all of the healthy veggies and fruit treats. Her name suits her well as she is a real beauty. Beauty passed away October 1 2009.

Whitlyn was adopted from my friend's sister where she used to be known as Cookie. She was living by herself but she has taken to my bRats very well! Whitlyn is friendly, outgoing, sweet and she loves to be with people and rats. I am so glad that she is enjoying her life with me!
