Super Pet Multi Level Ferret Home

"Give ferrets more space to have fun. This multi-level home features strong epoxy-coated metal panels (1inchesH wire) and a washable, break-resistant 2' x 2' purple plastic base. Includes a solid safety ramp, extreme spiral slide, crazy critter hammock, fluorescent FerreTrail Fun-nel, and three comfort shelves. Plus, every home includes a inchesE-Zinches Roll stand with duluxe caster wheels."

Measures 24"L x 24"W x 37"H.

In my opinion it is a well spaced cage, provides lots of rattie fun but is a pain to clean. Not a great cage for rats that chew either. According to the rat cage calculator it can hold about six rats comfortably. The cage may not hold young and small rats in as the bars are an inch apart.

Ferret Nation 142

"Designed with ferrets and their owners in mind. After watching how ferrets play, eat, sleep, interact--attending to their every need for maintaining a safe and happy lifestyle, design began on the best environment as well as the most user-friendly ferret cage. The result being "Ferret Nation," a complete and feature filled habitat providing:

  • Full-width door openings.
  • One-hand operation dual locking door latches.
  • Wide, height adjustable shelves.
  • Full platform pans for maximum play area.
  • Swing-up locking ramps that securely separate ferrets for feeding and care.
  • Platinum gray hammertone finish"
  • 36''L x 25''W x 62 1/2''H

So far I love the cage. It is a monster cage, easy to clean and decorate. It allows plenty of room for rats to play, eat, sleep and to be rats. The only problem with it is that little crevices can get filled up with gunk after while but isn't too hard to deal with. The Ferret Nation's bars are far apart and may allow young or small rats to escape. The Midwest company however has come out with the Critter Nation which is pretty much the same but with smaller bar spaces. According to the Rat Cage Calculator this cage can hold about twelve rats comfortably.
