Jaster volunteered into a program in which he and a handful of other Mandalorians were to be artificially enhanced through nano augmentations. This was brand new idea of physical enhancement due to the fact that there were no limitations in which the nanites could be used. However this proved fatal for many Mandalorians, their bodies rejected the nanites causing severe attacks on the body by both the nanites and the immune system. Those unsuccessful projects were left crippled and often died. Jaster was one of the very few mandalorians to even SURVIVE the program let alone producing positive outcomes. Further study and analysis revealed that all the bodies that accepted the nanites produced a unique protein labeled the "H type epsilon" immunoglobin.
These nano-augmentations exceed all enhancing implants previously implemented by the Mandalorians. A slight con is that it consumes it's energy source (Bio electric energy) at a rapid pace and must be recharged frequently at specially designed booths. Nano augmented Mandalorians show very little cosmetic disfigurement unlike many other implants and mechanical augmentations currently being used by their peers.

This augmentation is the most versatile and useful augmentation and is the first to be implemented. Every neuron of the brain, every receptor is enhanced by the nanites. This provides greatly enhanced thinking for battles that required quick strategic thinking as well as the mental attacks of Jedi. The headsets Mandalorians often wore underneath their helmet were no longer useful as the augmentation provided all the services it had without the baggage. With the cranial augmentations in place, this opened doors to limitless option for other bodily augmentation.
Visual Enhancement
By bleaching selected rod photoreceptors and saturating them with metarhodopsin XII, the "nightvision" present in most nocturnal animals can be duplicated. Subsequent upgrades and modifications add infravision and sonar resonance imaging that effectively allows an agent to see through walls. This was not a completely necessary augmentation for all these enhancements are easily supplied by the Mandalorian helmet itself.
Main Augmentations
Defense System
Aerospol nanoparticles are released upon the detection of objects fitting the electromagnetics threat profile of missiles and grenades; these nanoparticles will prematurely detonate such objects prior to reaching the agent. There are several defensive nanites that branch off this. Nanoscale generators partially protect individual nanites and reduce biolectric drain by canceling incoming pulses (Ionic or electromagnetic attacks). Nanites will mass together to form monomolecular plates. These monomolecular plates reinforce the skin's epithelial membrane, reducing the damage received from projectiles and bladed weapons.
Regeneration
Programmable polymerase automatically directs construction of proteins in injured cells; rejuvinating them and closing the suspected wound. This very augmentation was the savior of Jaster. This augmentation is constantly working, halting Jaster's aging process. This could be a bug or an adaptation by the Nanites themselves, and there is no Bio-electric energy depletion from this phenomenon.
Strength and Stamina
Ionic polymeric gel myofibrils amplify muscle strength and are woven into leg muscles. This increases the speed at which the augmented user can run and climb, the height they can jump, and reducing the damage they receive from falls. Sorting rotors accelerate calcium ion concentration in the saecoplasmic reticulum, increasing muscle speed several fold and multiplying the damage they inflict in melee combat.
