The Rochester Americans were eliminated from the playoffs on May,26 2004 (Game 5) vs. the Milwaukee Admirals. The admirals won the series 4-1.

 Doug was selected to play for the Ahl Planet USA All-Stars. Planet USA won the Skills Competition but lost the Game.
