What is A Limiting Belief?
A limiting belief is a negative thought that you have about yourself or the world you live in. For example you could have a limiting belief that you "can't do" something because you're not talented enough, experienced enough or good enough!
Here are some examples of limiting beliefs:
I'm not attractive enough therefore I will never attract a partner.
I'm not smart enough so I will never get the job that I want.
I'm too OLD so employers will never hire me.
I'm too YOUNG so employers will never hire me.
Or you fail at a task and label yourself a failure when in fact failing is a natural process on the path to success and the more you fail the quicker you will reach your destination! You are most definitely NOT a failure you are a SUCCESS because you tried.
How do they limit you?
Limiting beliefs can actually stop us from even trying something. We can even sabotage our success because we will look for evidence to support our limiting belief. It's like a self fulfilling prophecy. If you believe that you can't do something then the chances are you wont even begin to take the necessary action. This can will leave you feeling unfulfilled and dissatisfied.
What are Your Limiting Beliefs?
Identifying your limiting beliefs is the first step to taking back control of your mind. Sit for a few minutes now and think about all the beliefs you have about yourself or the world you live in: Whenever you find yourself saying ; "I can't", it's not possible" this is a clue that you have a limiting belief. Start to notice and identify all those negative conversations you have with yourself.

The truth is YOU are in control of your thoughts. Your limiting beliefs only have power over you if you let them persist. Start today to feed yourself more positive affirmations and empowering beliefs. Instead of saying: I'm not good enough turn it around and say YES, I AM GOOD ENOUGH, TALENTED ENOUGH, GORGEOUS ENOUGH!. It's important that you keep repeating these new empowering beliefs on a daily basis - like an exercise routine for your mind. Fill the Pool of Your Mind with strong positive thoughts.
