Beat Those January Blues
Recent research has suggested that January 24th is the most depressing
day of the year. This got me thinking about ways to overcome and beat
those January Blues, here are just some suggestions...
REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL
Make
a list of all the things you have in your life to be thankful and
cheerful about. It could be anything from the sun shining, to having
someone special in your life or doing the work you love and having
enough to eat. Keep this list handy where you can see it on a regular
basis and keep adding to it. This really works!
TREAT YOURSELF
Book
yourself a treat ~ something to really look forward to that you enjoy
doing. A facial, hairdo, rent a video you've been wanting to watch for
ages, go to the cinema, plan to spend a day not working and doing
exactly what you want to do ~ stay in bed, read, potter around the
garden centre (my favourite), only eat finger food! what ever, as long
as it's something that you love doing.
