Hello and Welcome to a little glimpse of our world.

We are privileged to have many friends and relatives and through the wonders of technology we are able to share our stories and photos. Just think, when my ancestor came to Australia on the First Fleet in 1788 he never saw his family again and although he could read and write, many people were illiterate in those days.
Even when Barry came to Australia in 1971 it was by ship, and an overseas phone call was a luxury. When a family member of mine was in UK in early 1980's, a $10 phone card only lasted a few minutes, or it was write a letter and perhaps get an answer weeks later.
Now we have free MSN, free Skype, free webpages, free slideshows and more. See my other favourite site too - http://www.jandante.multiply.com
