Jamie Salé and David Pelletier first started skating together in 1998. They always wanted to skate together. Jamie and David skate with grace and style, flow and technique, and great presentation skills.
Jamie Salé was always a little, tiny girl. She has brown eyes and brown hair. Her parents, Patti and Gene Salé, first started taking her skating at age 4. Jamie always loved skating. She loved the spotlight, and she was a natural skater. She had the artistry and ambition of a figure skater. Canadian Elizabeth Manely was her role model after the Calgary Olympics.
David Pelletier was always interested more in hockey than in skating. He would always sneek off into the streets to play hockey when he was supposed to be skating. He hated compulsory figures, he quit a couple of times (or so he said). But he liked competing, and his coach told him that figures were a part of competing, so he continued. but he really got interested in skating after the Calgary Olympics.
Jamie and David acomplished great things in their amatuer carreer, some things that even the greatest of skaters never do. They proved what they could do, they won an Olympic Gold medal. That is every skaters dream, no matter big or small, good skater or a begginner. Jamie and David have a love for skating, they have the artistry for skating, and they have all around great personalities!
