James Clement has become the third rider to agree terms with the Robert Heath Heating Dons for the 2005 season. Team Manager Dingle Brown was delighted to make the announcememt yesterday, "James has made steady progress with Wimbledon since I first introduced him into the side at the begining of the 2003 season. Many fans gave me stick for persevering with James when he found points difficult to come by in his first season. However, he always looked secure on his bike and I felt all he needed to become a good speedway rider was to get more speed into his riding and I knew that this would gradually come, as he gained more experience. Last year he proved to be an excellent reserve for us and I am sure he will be equally successful this year as he moves up into the main body of the team as one of our two second-string riders".
