If I could go back
This story begins when this man met this woman. They were young and full of life. At first he was excided, and treated her so good. He thought, she is the best thing that ever happened to me. He would bring her flowers and candy for no reason at all. He couldn't wait to come home from work to be with her. He would cuddle with her at night, and think, I am so lucky to have her.
I don't know what happened, but after a time, things begin to change. He got so involved in work and started coming home much later at night. She started getting sad, and missing the way he was. She thought, when he comes home tonight, I have to tell him how I feel. So that night, when he finally got home , she said can we talk?
He said what is on your mind? She explained how good he had been to her, and that she missed the attention he used to give her. He told her he was sorry, but he had to do what he had to do. He said, I have to make a living and provide for you, but I will try to do better.
But as time went on, things got worse. He worked more and more, and came home later at night. She started getting more depressed, and missing him all the time. She thought, I miss the way he was, and I only wish he knew how I feel. So she tried to talk to him one more time. She explained how she felt, and told him, that with him, she wanted to spend more time. He said to her, I am sorry, but things will get better in awhile. And then, maybe I could take some time off, and we can go on a vacation. That made her feel so good, and she thought, I look forward to that day.
Soon after, while he was at work she was cleaning the house. all of a sudden she started having chest pains. It got real bad and she called 911. Shortly, the rescue squad showed up and took her to the hospital. She knew she was dying from a heart attack, and ask the nurse to call her husband. So the nurse said she would. The nurse tried to get in contact with her husband, but couldn't. Shortly after this, The woman died.
Later that night, he came home, and he wondered, where is she? He looked for her all through the house. He was beginning to worry, because he knew this was out of the ordinary. Then suddenly the phone began to ring. He answered it and said hello! The person on the other end was the nurse from the hospital. She said I hate to inform you of this, but your wife has died. He dropped the phone, and began to weep. He thought if only I had her back, I would spend more time with her. I loved her more than life, I wish I had her back. If I did, I would spend alot more time with her. I would treat her like I did in the beginning. His life was never the same, and he longed for her all the time. And he always thought, if only I could go back. The morel of this story is,,don't put off until tomorow ,what you need to do today, because tomorrow might never come.
