Christmas Without you
This is the story of a man who was willing to spend Christmas without the woman he loved. The reason he was willing to do that is because he realized it had been years since she had an opportunity to spend Christmas with the people she loved the most. He told her he was willing to make the sacrifice of spending Christmas alone, so she could spend that precious time with her family. Even though he never let her know at the time, he knew his heart would break as he watched her leave him two days before Christmas. He thought! I will dread to watch her leave the driveway and disappear out of sight, I will hate it this Christmas without Her. But he knew he was willing to make that sacrifice to make her happy.
Two days before Christmas, she was ready to go, and he could see how excided she was to get on the road to see her family that she loved so much. After she left, he walked back into the house, but it seemed lonely and dark without her, and that is when it dawned on him, that he would spend Christmas alone. He tried to reason in his mind, that he was doing the right thing, understanding how she felt. But the loneliness overwhelmed him, and he began to break down. He survived until the 24th, which was Christmas Eve . On Christmas Eve he was all alone, and I have to admit, he was so depressed. I know it is wrong, but he decided to give up. he thought! Christmas without her will be so bad, but He knew what he had to do.
On Christmas Eve, he took his life, he committed suicide . He left a note saying-- "My darling" my love was so true". and even when I am gone, I will always love you. I know you could not spend christmas with me. That my love is ok!, you need to be where you have to be. I wish I could have been so much better to you. I am sorry I could not take anymore, but you will be fine. I know you will be ok, long after I am gone. I know I had to spend Christmas without you, but I know you did all you could do. goodbye my love....
She read the letter, and broke down in tears. She thought! did I do for him all I could do? then she heard A SMALL VOICE SAY! yes! you did, go on with life, he is at peace now! and he will never spend another Christmas without you. She thought! I do not understand, how could I ever spend Christmas with him again, if he is not here? again! she heard A SMALL VOICE SAY, because he will always be with you during Christmas.. in your heart!
Seeing Santa
This is the story of a precious little girl, who at the time was around nine years old. She lived in a hollow in Kentucky, and she was sheltered from the outside world. Her family had no television, phone service, or even a radio. During Christmas her father would go out in the field and find a Christmas tree, and bring it home and put it up. They never had any normal decorations for the tree, so her dad would catch lightening bugs and glue them to the tree for lights. Her mother made what people use to call sugar tits wrapped in white cloth, and string them together like you would popcorn, and put them on the tree. The little girl would get so excited when the tree was up, and she couldn't wait until Christmas morning.
She had never seen Santa Claus, or even had the opportunity to sit on his lap and tell him what she wanted for Christmas. The only thing she knew about Santa was when her aunt Myrtle would come before Christmas and bring her children's Christmas stories. The books were always full of stories about Santa, and his reindeer. She would look at the pictures of Santa in the books, and wish just one time she could see and talk to Santa. She would lay awake at night and dream about what she would say to Santa if she ever had the chance to see and talk to him.
One day! about a week before Christmas, her uncle Homer came by in his 59 ford.
He asked her mom and dad if they and his little niece would like to go for a ride in his "new car. They agreed, so everybody got in the car and started down the road. While driving, uncle Homer mentioned that Santa was going to be at the one and only local mall that afternoon. When the little girl heard that, she got so excited and said to uncle Homer. Oh! please,! Please! can we go to see Santa while we are out. Her father looked at her mother, and her mother looked at her father, and uncle Homer looked at them both. After a moment they all agreed to take the little girl to the mall to see Santa.
The little girl was so happy when they arrived at the mall. She had waited her whole life just to see Santa one time. Santa was in the middle of the mall, and there was a long line of kids waiting to see Santa. The little girl didn't care," she thought" I will wait as long it takes to talk to Santa. Finally her time came to sit on Santa lap, and tell him what she wanted for Christmas. She went up excitedly and sit down on Santa's lap. Santa said, HO-HO-HO! what do you want for Christmas little girl? She told him she wanted a television, a phone, and a radio for her mom and dad, and then she said Oh! yes Santa! I would also like to have normal Christmas lights and decorations for our tree. Santa paused for a moment, and then said, anything else? like maybe a doll or something? The little girl responded by saying no Santa, I don't want to ask for too much. If you just give me what I asked for, all my dreams will come true. Santa looked at that beautiful little girl with tears in his eyes and said, sweetie! all your dreams will come true.
Two days before Christmas, several relatives, and some neighbors showed up at their house with gifts. they brought a televison, a phone, a radio, normal Christmas decorations, and one extra gift. The little girl was so happy, but she wonderd what the extra gift was for. Someone told her to open it because it was for her. She quickly opened the extra present, and inside was the most beautiful doll she had ever seen. She began to cry and thought! Santa did make all my dreams come true, and so much more.
My Christmas love
My story begins about five years ago. It was right after Christmas, and I had just gotten out of a trying and disappointing relationship. I was back on my own again, but I was discouraged with life, and wanted no part of Christmas ever again. I know that sounds cold, and it was! because normally I always enjoyed Christmas and being with the people you love during that time. But you have to understand the woman I was with during that Christmas was cold hearted, cruel, and only thought about herself. I know that sounds mean, but it was true! she left me hurt, frustrated, and all alone.
By the time the NEW YEAR rolled around, I had regained my composure, and fell into the normal routine of life. I started spending a lot of time on the computer, and just for fun! signed up on some of those dating sights. I never took it serious, but I have to admit is was entertaining and fun interacting with some of the women on there. One night I was looking through some of the profiles and ran across this gorgeous brunette with sexy bedroom eyes. I loved what she said in her profile, so I thought I would leave a comment on her profile. I never for one moment dreamed anything would come of it. But! a couple of hours later she responded to my comment. We talked for awhile, and then exchanged phone numbers, it went really well. I told her I might call her sometime, and that is when she said! how about now? so! I called her, and we talked for what seemed like a long time. Over the next three or four months, we talked on the phone almost daily, and communicated on the computer. I didn't realize it at the time, but during that period, I fell madly in love with her, even though we had never met in person.
After about four months into our relationship, we decided to meet in person. So! I drove to Kentucky to spend the day with her. I remember in one of our conversations, she had commented that she could tell if she liked a man after their first kiss. So! needless to say, I was determined to make a good impression. We met at a park, and even though I never told her at the time, I knew she would become the love of my life. We walked around the park for awhile, and suddenly we embraced and kissed. After what was a passionate kiss, I looked deep into her sexy eyes, and knew I had made a good impression. We spent the rest of the day together, and then! she went her way, and I went mine.
Over the next several months, we got so close to each other. I would go back and forth to Kentucky, and she would come to West Virginia to see me. It seemed like no time, until it was Christmas again. We made plans for her to come to my home for Christmas. She came a week before Christmas, and I was so excited to see her. The next two weeks were amazing, we decorated for Christmas, put up a beautiful Christmas tree, and shared special moments together. That is when my opinion of Christmas changed. I started to enjoy christmas again, and I know now, it is because I found my Christmas love.
Now! I look forward to Christmas every year, because I know I will have my Christmas love here. She is everything I ever dreamed of, and so much more. I am writing this story on December the 13th- 2009. We are getting ready to celebrate Christmas once again, and I know it will the best ever. I know that because I am still with the love of my life--my Christmas love.
The black Bear And the white Kitten
This story is about a big black bear, and a white Kitten. It begins with these people who had this white kitten, and didn't want it anymore. So! they took the white kitten out in the country, and dropped it off on the side of the road by a forest. The kitten was sad and bewildered, and did not know what to do. The white kitten thought, how am I going to live? I have no place to go. The poor white kitten sat on the side of the road for the longest time. After a day or two , the white kitten began to get hungry, and wanted something to eat. The white kitten was afraid of the forest, but it it was so hungry, it decided to go into the forest to look for food.
The white kitten thought as it was walking through the forest, Wow! it is so dark and scary here. The kitten was so scared, it wanted to turn around and go back to the road. The problem was, it was so dark, the white kitten couldn't find it's way back. So the white kitten," hungry and tired", laid down beside a big tree, and fell asleep. A while later the white kitten was awakened by a loud roaring noise. The White kitten was terrified, and trembled inside, as it tried to hid. It looked up and" low and behold"
there stood this great big black bear.
The black bear looked at the white kitten and said, are you scared of me? The white kitten was shaking all over when it said, yes sir I am, please don't eat me. The black bear asked the white kitten how long it had been in the forest. The white kitten said for awhile! but now, I am lost and hungry, and afraid of you. The black bear grinned and said, don't worry little white kitten, just follow me. So the white kitten did as the black bear instructed, and followed him all the way to his cave. Once the black bear, and the white kitten were at the black bears cave, the black bear told the white kitten to have a seat. The white kitten noticed the cave was real warm, and the black bear had a fire going. The black bear disappeared for awhile in another part of the cave. While he was gone, fear gripped the white kitten, and it thought! Oh! no! he is going to roast me over that fire and eat me. But awhile later, the black bear came back with a hand full of fish. He put the fish on the fire and roasted them. After the fish were done he said, white kitten! eat all you want, until you are full. The white kitten was so hungry, it ate all the fish.
One year later, the black bear, and the white kitten are still together. The black bear goes hunting and makes sure he feeds the white kitten ( cat by now ). The white cat keeps the cave clean, and the black bear brings food everyday for him and the white cat. The only time the white cat is lonely is when the black bear hibernates for the winter. And when the black bear awakes in the spring, him and the white cat spends the spring and summer together.

After an agonizing search, he came across this cage that had a strange little dog in it. He would leave the cage, and keep looking, but he kept coming back to that same cage. You see, although the dog was cute, the thing that concerned him was the dog was purple in color. He thought! I am really drawn to this dog, but I am not sure my little girl would want a purple dog. finally after awhile, he said, I don't know why, but I just have to get this purple dog for my little girl. So he adopted the purple dog, and took it home to his little girl.
So, when he got home, he told his little girl he had a big surprise for her.
she was so excited and said, oh! dad, I know you got me a pet. He said yes sweetie! I did get you a pet, and I know you will love it. She was jumping up and down with excitement, until she saw the dog. She said! daddy, this is a purple dog, why couldn't you have gotten me a white dog, or a brown or black dog? He explained to her that there was something special about this purple dog. He said, I can not tell you why, but I know this purple dog will be a good pet for you. After a few days, the little girl fell in love with her purple dog. She feed the purple dog, and took real good care of it. She couldn't wait to show the purple dog to all of her friends. When her friends saw the purple dog, they began to point their finger and laugh. They said, where in the world did you get that silly purple dog? Then they kept laughing and pointing their finger at her little purple dog. She started crying, and with her little purple dog in her arms, she ran home. When she got home her dad noticed she had been crying, and ask her what was wrong. She said daddy! all the kids made fun of my purple dog that I love so much. He said don't worry sweetie, one day they will know how special your little purple dog is.
A few weeks later, the little girl was walking through the neighborhood, with her purple dog by her side. All her friends were out playing on the sidewalk, as she and her purple dog walked by. At first, they began to laugh again when they saw her purple dog. Then suddenly! out of no where came this huge mountain lion, and all the kids started screaming and running away. The mountain lion was chasing the kids, but! before he could catch them, the purple dog jumped on the mountain lion's back, and began chewing on the mountain lions ear. Bewildered, the mountain lion tried to get the purple dog off his back. Finally, the purple dog jumped off the mountain lion's back, and the mountain lion ran off into the woods. All the kids started clapping and shouting for joy! needless to say, everyone in the neighborhood loves the little girl's purple dog, and they all think he is a hero.
The love Of My Life
I want to tell you about the love of my life. I started out real young, I was married when I was only seventeen. We had two children, and even at my young age, I loved my daughters with all my heart. I look back now! and I realize I wasn't very responsible. It is so funny now, But I thought I was a man when I was seventeen. But I soon found out I had a lot to learn about being a husband and father. I made my share of mistakes, and to this day, I regret some of the things I did.
Later in time, I tried to correct all the mistakes I made, and I realized I loved my wife, and my two precious girls. But I guess by that time, it was too late, and our lives fell apart. My ex wife and I were apart more than we were together. That was hard for me, but I think the hardest thing was to see what it did to my little girls. I remember how sweet and innocent they were, and all I wanted to do, was to protect them from what was going on. I don't think I did a very good job, but I have to say they came out ok! My oldest daughter has a great husband, and two fantastic little girls. My youngest daughter has a great career, a loving husband, and two wonderful Little boys. I think my ex wife is with someone who is much better for her, than I ever was.
Now! I would like to get to the main theme of this story. After all I experienced, I truely thought I knew what real love was all about. I thought I had known the best love you could ever know. But! about five years ago, I met this lovely woman from Kentucky. I have to be honest, for me! It was love at first sight. I knew from the beginning, I would spend the rest of my life with her. she has been a Godsent to me, and now I know she is the love of my life. Se sticks by me, through the good times, and the bad times. I love her more than I have ever loved anybody, or anything. I look at her sometimes, and all I can think is she is and always will be the love of my life....

The Eggless Chicken
This is the story about a farmer who had a big farm. He had hogs, cattle, planted a lot of corn, and raised chickens. But his main income came from selling eggs that the chickens laid. He had a strict rule, that if his chickens felled to produce a certain amount of eggs, then the chicken would be slaughtered, and the chicken became someone's dinner. That was hard for him, because he really loved his chicken's. As a matter of fact, he loved his chickens so much, that he gave each and everyone of them a name.
He had this one special chicken, and he had named her Tears. The reason he did was because she always showed a tear, when he came to feed the chickens. Tears always tried to produce as many eggs as she could, because she knew the farmers rule, and she did not want to end up on someone's dinner table. Tears spent her days trying to lay as many eggs as she could, so she could impress the farmer.
All of a sudden one day, Tears could not even lay one egg. She tried desperately, but it was all in vain. She knew the farmer came by daily to check to see how many eggs she had laid. She began to panic, and tried with all her heart to lay an egg. But no matter what she did, she could not lay even one egg. This went on for about a week, and Tears knew her life was about to be over. She dreaded to see the farmer come the next day to check her, and see how many eggs she had laid. Tears didn't sleep much that night, because she knew the next day, her fate would be sealed.
Well! The next day, the farmer came by as usual, and he began to check each chicken to see how many eggs they had laid. When he got to Tears, he seen a tear in Tears eye. The farmer said, Tears, why are you crying? Tears responded by saying, Mister farmer, I know what your rule is, and I have tried to produce eggs, but I can not produce even one egg, so I guess I will be someone's dinner tonight. The farmer, full of love for Tears, kneeled down and took tears in his arms and said, Tears, you are my best and favorite chicken. I will never slaughter you, and you will never become someone's dinner. He added, you are a special chicken, and you don't ever have to worry about laying even one more egg. When he said that, another tear came to Tears eye, and Tears smiled and and began to lay more eggs than the farmer could keep up with......

My First Love
I would venture to say that most people will always remember their first love. That doesn't necessarily mean your first love is your best love, although you may think so at the time. I happen to be with my best love at this stage of my life, and I always will be. I know some people marry their first love, raise a family, and stay together for better or worse, until death do them part. (even though that seems to be rare these days) That was my plan in the beginning, but it didn't work out that way. So the following is the story of my first love and I :
The first time we met I was fourteen, and she was only thirteen. I was the local paper boy, and I delivered the newspaper to her grandmother's house, with whom she lived. One Saturday afternoon I came to collect for the paper as usual and she answered the door. Keep in mind I was only fourteen, but I thought she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. From there on in I would get so excited when I delivered the paper, hoping to get at least one glimpse of her. But the next time I saw her was at the junior high school we both attended. She was coming up the stairway, and I was on my way down. As we were passing by each other we paused for a moment, and gazed into one another's eyes. Then without saying a word, she went on her way, and so did I. For the next six months or so she prayed upon my mind, and I knew I would never forget her. We lived in a small town in Virginia, and I thought chances were I would run into her again eventually. One Sunday I walked to town just to hang out, as I often did. Back in those days everything was closed in a small town on Sunday, so it was vacant except for me sitting on a rock wall. Then suddenly! I saw her walking slowly up the street toward me. As she drew closer to where I was my heart started pounding, and I tried to think of something cleaver to say to her. But to my relief she spoke first, and we talked for a long time. After awhile she ask me to take her to a movie, and without hesitation I said yes. There was a small theater in town, and a movie was always playing on Monday evenings. The next evening I walked to her house and picked her up, and we held hands as we made our way to the theater. After we were inside and seated, I wrestled with the thought of putting my arm around her. Finally I got up the nerve and put my arm around her, and I could sense she was expecting me to do so anyway. Until this day I couldn't tell you what the movie was about, I was so mesmerized by her. That is how it all began with my first love.
For the next year and a half we were almost inseparable, and we spent a lot of time together. Her grandmother was real strict, and always let me know when it was time for me to go home. One evening I came by and she wanted to go for a walk, she said I have something I need to tell you. So as we were walking she started crying, and informed me that she was pregnant. She SCREAMED out, my mom will kill me when she finds out. (she always called her grandmother mom because she raised her) I just stood there speechless, I had no idea what to say or do. By this time she was fifteen and I was barely sixteen, so of course all this was new to us. All I could think to do was to hug her and tell her I loved her. Naturally, as time went on her grandmother found out she was pregnant. She became full of rage and threatened to kill me, and forbid me from seeing her granddaughter anymore. But we still slipped around and seen each other anytime the opportunity presented itself. A month or two later her grandmother took her out of state to another relative's home in Ohio. The plan was that after she gave birth, the baby was to be given up for adoption. As a sixteen year old, I had no rights and I felt helpless, so I did the only thing I could think of to do, I prayed. I knew it would take a miracle, but I ask God to bring her home and make a way for for us to get married and have the baby together. Awhile later I was in town, and I seen my first love walking up the street, and at first I was shocked. Then I realized that God had answered my prayer, something had changed and they came home. By now she was about seven and a half months along in her pregnancy, and I pondered on what to do. So I dropped all my pride, and wrote her grandmother a letter, pleading with her to let me see her granddaughter. The next day I walked up to her house and put the letter in her mail box. That night the grandmother sent word for me come to her house, and I wasted no time getting there. When I arrived she said she would allow us to marry under two conditions. first, I would have to pay part on the medical bills, and second, I would have to get her granddaughter a set of wedding rings. It only took me two weeks to meet her conditions and she agreed to let us get married. Since we were both underage, a parent or guardian had to sign for us to get a marriage license. My mother wouldn't have anything to do with it, she thought I was to young to marry, and it would be a mistake. So my father went to the courthouse with us and gave his permission for me to obtain a marriage license. Soon after we had a very small wedding at her grandmother's house.
We were married on December the twenty first, and about three weeks later she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I took one look at that little girl, and I would never be able to articulate how great it made me feel inside. I knew even at the young age of seventeen, my life would never be the same. Five and a half years later, we had another beautiful daughter. Just like the first one, she was perfect, and I knew regardless of what the future may hold, I was blessed. I thought having two children at such a young age made me a big mature man, but I soon found out how wrong I was.
The first ten years of our marriage were pretty rocky to say the least. Just like in any relationship there were good times, but also a lot of bad. Mistakes and poor judgment were made on both sides, I think that came from being so young and a lack of maturity. At age twenty seven, through trial and error I felt like I had grown up a lot. At that stage of my life, all I wanted was to be the best husband and father I could possibly be. That was about the same time her life took her in a different direction for the worse. Without going into details, She decided she wanted something else, and the next eight years was like living a nightmare. Through tears, heartache, and disappointment, I spent those years struggling to keep my family together. She came back to me a countless number of times, but it wasn't long before she was gone again. After eighteen years we finally divorced, and except for my daughters, I would never want to relive that part of my life. Like I said in the beginning, you may always remember your first love, but it will never compare to your best love. I am so thankful I am with my best love now, and she is a blessing to me everyday......
Not Good Enough
Mom is a good woman, and she has always been. She had eight children, and there has never been anything she would not do for any of us. But for some reason, I was singled out as the son no one was good enough for. I don't know if it was because I was the smartest, or the best looking kid she had. I had five sister's, and when they got married, all their husband's received mom's approval. I have two brother's, and their wife's, mom loves and adores. I have been married three times, and they all struck out with mom. She always said son, you could do so much better than the women you get involved with. I would say, I know that mom, but they could never do better than me.
I was married the first time when I was only seventeen years old. I could not wait to take her home to meet my mother. I thought mom would adore her too, and treat her like a daughter (boy! was I wrong). Mom despised her from the beginning, and she let her know that in her own little way. Mom would say things to tick her off, and make her angry, anytime she was around. Sometimes I would go months without seeing mom, because her and my first wife didn't get along. I was married to my first wife for eighteen years. The first ten years weren't anything to write home about, but the last eight years were a nightmare. Without going into all the details, she did things that no decent woman would ever do. So we ended up getting a divorce, and I realized mom was right about her all along.
Three years later, I married my second wife who was also my first. I don't mean to be confusing, but my first wife and I remarried for the second time. There was no change, mom still knew she wasn't good enough for me. As a matter of fact, mom was so angry, she disowned me as her son. But the worst part is, there was no change in first wife either, the second time around. We were together for about three months, and I knew it wouldn't last. If possible, those three months were worse than the first time I was married to her. So we separated, and I filed for divorce, I guess mom was right again!
I was single for seven or eight year, and dated off and on during that time. And I could tell mom didn't think any of them were good enough for me. Then I met this woman on the internet, and two months later we were married. When mom first met her, she was polite and treated her with kindness. She didn't say anything but I could see in her eyes, she didn't think this woman was good enough either. My third wife lived in another town, so I moved there with her. We bought a house and everything was fine for awhile. Then things started to fall apart, and I was afraid this marriage wasn't going to last either. But I wasn't getting any younger, so I hung in there for three and a half years. But then it got so bad between us, I had to leave and come back to my home town. When I told mom, she didn't seem to be surprised at all. She said I wanted to keep my mouth shut this time, but I knew she wasn't right for you. And I said, well mom! I guess once again, you were right.
Awhile later I met this lady from Kentucky, and we hit it off from the beginning. After being around her for awhile, I knew without a doubt, she was good enough for me. And something deep inside me let me know mom would think so too. As soon as I introduced the Kentucky woman to mom, I knew she was pleased. Even thought mom said nothing, I could almost hear her saying, this time son, you found someone you aren't good enough for. We have been together for four years, And I think mom loves her more than me. They have so much in common and are so much alike it is scary. They have the same first name, act alike, and she looks enough like mom to be her daughter. Mom is always telling me she is the best thing that ever happened to me. She said if you let her go, you are a fool, and son I will kill you. I agree with mom, she is too good for me, and she is the love of my life. Well mom! I guess you were right one more time....
