Red Christmas Bunny
This is the story of a man named Jake who fell in love with a lady who's name was Judy. They dated for a while, and realized they had a lot in common. For instance, they both liked sports, the same kind of food, good movies, and most of all, they both wanted a house full of children. So! they decided to get married and work on having and raising a big family. They tried for two years, but it seemed Judy could not get pregnant. One day Jake approached Judy and said, Honey! I think we should go and see a doctor, and maybe we can find out why you haven't gotten pregnant. They made an appointment with a doctor, and a few days later they were in the doctors office waiting to be examined. The doctor first examined Judy, and then he examined Jake. They waited for a few days patiently to get the test results back. When the doctor called! Judy answered the phone, and he told her, I have some good news,and some bad news. Judy said excitedly, please tell me how the test results came out. he said well! Judy you are fine, you could have a dozen children, but Jake is sterile, he will never be able to father a child. Judy was so devastated, she dropped the phone, and started to weep. Jake asked Judy what was wrong, and she told him what the doctor said. Jake was disappointed, but took Judy in his arms and said, honey! do you believe in miracles from God? Judy responded by saying, yes I do! I believe God can do anything. So! that night Jake and Judy prayed that God would give them a miracle baby.
Nine months later Judy gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, and her and Jake both knew she was a miracle from God. They adored the baby girl, and named her Angel! because they knew she was a special gift from God. Jake and Judy vowed to do whatever it took to make Angel's life happy and complete. Their desire was to give Angel everything she needed, and to try and give her anything she wanted. Over the next few years, Jake and Judy wrapped their lives' around Angel. They knew she was a God sent miracle child, and they felt so blessed to have her.
I failed to mention that Angel was born on Christmas day, and it was getting close to Christmas, and Angel was about to turn five years old. Knowing this, Jake asked his precious little girl what she wanted for Christmas. She responded by saying, all I want is a bunny rabbit for Christmas. Jake was surprised by what Angel wanted, and said, do mean a stuffed toy bunny, or an easter bunny? Angel said NO! I want a real bunny for Christmas, and I want it to be red. Jake thought to himself, I want to give Angel what she wants, but I have never seen a red bunny.
That same afternoon, Jake told Judy what Angel said she wanted for Christmas. He said! Judy, I want to get her what she wants for Christmas, but it will be impossible to find a red bunny. Judy said Jake! we will go and see if we can find Angel a red bunny for Christmas tomorrow . So! the next day they went to the pet store's looking for a red bunny. All they could find was a lot of pretty white bunnys, then Jake said to Judy, what can we do? Judy said, I guess we can get a white bunny and dye it red. So that is exactly what they did, and they were thrilled with the results. On Christmas morning, they gave Angel her red bunny, and Angel began to cry. Jake and Judy asked Angel why she was crying, was she not happy with her gift? Angel said OH! NO! I love the red Christmas bunny, but I did not think you all could ever find a red Christmas bunny, but you did! now I know how much you all love me, and it brings tears to my eyes.....
