The Alien Baby
This story begins on a small farm in Idaho where a man, his wife, and their young daughter lived. They were for the most part your average hard working american family except for their daughter, her name was Venus. She was obsessed with outer space, the stars and other planets, so I guess they gave her the right name. Venus would read every book she could find about outer space, and she loved to watch science fiction movies. Anytime she heard about U F O sightings, she would run to her mom and dad and excitedly ask them about what she heard. They would discourage her by saying there was no such thing as flying saucers or life on other planets. Her mother said why can't you just be like other kids? Why don't you hang out with your friends,and go to the mall and all the other things normal kids do.? Her dad said all you do is read about aliens , U F O'S, and look at the sky through that stupid telescope all the time. From that time on, Venus kept her passion for outer space a secret from her parents. She would wait until they went to sleep, and then get out her telescope and look into outer space for hours at a time.
One night when Venus was about seventeen, she was looking through her telescope at the sky, when she saw a big green light descending toward earth. As it got closer, she could see it was square in shape and steam was coming from all sides. It was nothing like the pictures and movies she had seen of flying saucers. She ran outside to get a better look when she realized it was coming right toward their little farm. When it got about fifty feet in the air from her, it was like a whirlwind sucked her right up into it. She passed out for a moment from all the trauma, but when she woke up there were all these creatures standing around her. They weren't little green men with big heads or anything like she had been told or imagined. As a matter of fact, they were a lot like us except they were about twelve feet tall, and only had one big eye in the middle of their foreheads. She noticed that the eye they had was three times the size of a normal human being, and it was solid black. After a few minutes one of them, who must have been the leader came up to Venus and took her hand. He said in a deep echoing voice, you will give birth to one of our kind shortly. We want to see how our species copes in your world, and how he interacts with human beings. He will teach you about our planet, and our way of life. He then put his hand on her head and she fell off to sleep.
The next morning she woke up in her own bed, and thought she must have been dreaming. She said nothing to her parents, and for the next couple of days she went on with her daily life. Then one day she came home from school real sick at her stomach. Her parents were concerned and took her to the doctor to have her checked out. After the doctor examined her he approached her parents with a puzzled look on his face. Her mother said how is she? is she going to be alright? The doctor said yes! she will be alright, but she is pregnant and this is the strangest pregnancy I have ever seen. He said I can't put my finger on it, but there is something different about it. Ignoring what the doctor was saying her dad spoke up and said, there is no way Venus could be pregnant, she doesn't even have a boyfriend. After they got home her parents started drilling her trying to find out who the father of the baby was. Venus realized what she had experienced a few nights before wasn't a dream, and told her parents she was pregnant with an alien baby from outer space. Of course they didn't believe her and became furious, and confined her to her room. Apparently it doesn't take nine month for an alien to have a baby, because two weeks later she gave birth to a baby boy. He was two foot long at birth and had one big black eye in the middle of his forehead. When her parents saw the baby, they told Venus her baby was deformed. Venus said oh! no! he is normal where he comes from, everybody looks like him. Her father shook his head and said, I guess you are going to tell us again he is an alien baby, then he turned and walked away. Her dad and mom wouldn't have anything to do with the baby, and wanted her to put it (as they called him) in a home. As a matter of fact the whole town laughed and made fun of him, and her for claiming he was from outer space. Needless to say, Venus and her baby were shunned by everybody and they were all alone. But Venus was proud of her baby, and vowed to protect and take care of him.
By the time he was a month old he six feet tall, walking and talking, and it amazed Venus how super smart he was. He was a hundred times more intelligent than anyone she had ever known. He began to teach her about his people, their way of life, and the planet he originated from. He told her his planet was called Venus, just like her name. He said there was no fighting, or wars, and everybody loved one other, no matter how different they may be. Venus dropped to her knees and started crying, she said I wish this world was like that. After the way they have treated you and I and the cruelty they have shown, I don't want to live here anymore. He said well! they are coming back for me tonight, and you can go back to Venus with us. So that night the same green square spaceship descended from outer space to the little farm. Her mother and father happened to be sitting on the porch that night. they were in shock as they watched Venus and her alien baby being sucked up in the spaceship, and it took off in a flash. Her father looked at her mother and said, Oh! my God, she was telling the truth all along. And her mother said yes she was, and I have a feeling we will never see Venus again. (and they never did).
He was always there
This story begins in a simple way. It starts out with this small family, and they were happy. The man and woman had met, and they fell in love. They decided to get married, and raise a family. In time they had two children, a boy and a girl. They were so happy, and they knew they were so blessed. The man stuck by his wife and his children. He could not wait to come home to them.
This went on for several years, and they were a nice family. He and his wife just sit back and watched their children grow. He ask her one day, is it hard on you, I mean, taking care of our kids and all? She said, oh! gosh no, I enjoy my time with the kids. And she said to him, You have always been there for me, and the kids. and I know you love us with all your heart.
A few years later, one after noon, He left the house to go to the store. On his way to the store, A car ran the red light, and crashed into him. He was in critical condition by the time the rescue squad got to the scene. They were trying to revive him when he said, tell my family I love them. Needless to say, he died on the way to the hospital. they tried to save him, but it was in vain.
The next morning, the police came to his wife's door. When she answered the door,they told her what had happened. She broke down and started crying,and for a long time, she could not stop. After a while she thought, what can I tell the kids? So she got them together, and explained to them what had happened. Of course the children cried also as she did. They ask, what will we do without dad? It was hard for her to answer that question. But she pondered on it for awhile, and said to them. Your father was a great man, and he loved us so. And always remember, for us, he was always there.
