Jalikebba

Jali Kebba is busy in The Gambia (see CALENDER) to perform and to bring out his new album. He will be travelling to Europe on the 22nd of May and will be there for 3 months again. We are busy with his scedule for the summer.

On the 14th of August he will be travelling back to The Gambia.

Back from Austria  - JUNE 2008

It has been great! Jali Kebba made lots of good contacts. He played at the Chialas Festival, the organisation was happy to have him there, all the way from The Gambia! They would like it, when he come back next year.

At the end of the evening Jalikebba, Mamadou Diabate and Haja Madagascar played together, were improvising. This was the best the audience could get, a mixture of African traditional sounds played with a lot of passion. It was so good, that this MUST be continued........next summer in Europe TOUR 2009!

A lot has happened in between....

The new Album of Jalikebba "Jalikebba in Holland, The Voice of Manding" is available at this moment. The music you hear on the background is the first number of this CD.

Jalikebba is in Europe again, for a period of 3 months (June-August 2008).

We are busy with his musical scedule, so that he is able to perform and give kora workshops in Holland, Germany and Austria.
