Who am I and why did I get a Website?
Hi, I'm Jai Wo, but some of you might know me as LadyAvali620 from Fanart-Central, or just Avali! *shout out to you guys!!* I go by many nicknames so you are free to call me whatever. (Examples: Avali, Jai Wo, Av, Jai, girl, you, hey, that person, whatever!) I've been active here in the web database since I started my first online art gallery at the FAC in 2006, so a lot has changed since I first began.
This website was designed originally by my younger sister as a means to see if she could do actually do it. She's self-taught in html and css coding, so this was a major breakthrough for her. Since this website seems to be working quite well, she's thinking about pursuing a small business in building websites for people. She's still working out the details and kinks to the system, but if you are interested in her work, let me know and I will drop her a note.
As to the reason of why I have this website, I really wanted a place of my own where I could upload pictures, artwork, and photography projects. (Kinda like an online portfolio/blog domain) My intention is to update an art journal, and also flesh out my website with anything cool I find here on the internet. And...if for any reason, I want to seriously pursue a career in Graphic Design, I will have all of my experiments and progress right here on this website. Vwa-la!
