Here (in the links to the left, sorted by title) you can find all my finished poetry. This includes haikus, freestyle, rhyme, freestyle, and freestyle. I like freestyle.
I first began to really appreciate poetry when I wrote my first 'real' poem, Nothing, (which can be found in the FanFiction section). I began to understand that there are no rules for good poetry, no quidelines or brick walls, just your own creativity and originality. The best part is that you can follow your own style, let yourself flow with what feels natural, and you don't have to concentrate the way you might if you were writing fiction or prose.
Most of these poems of mine have been entered into contests (or I am planning to enter them) as I try to wedge my foot in the door of writing. Hopefully, one day, it'll pay off.
