It was brought to my attention today by a reader that someone was illegally using Gothism Zine to promote their webring. This is ridiculous. How sorry is this website/owner that they need to try steal Gothism Zine from me? And how stupid are these people that joined the webring despite the fact the owner's website has nothing to do with this zine?
Irregardless, I encourage all of you loyal fans of this zine to not join this webring. Do not join any webring that uses Gothism Zine/Gothism/J a d e/J a d e Zine unless you find it on this website with my formal approval.
Thank you to ravenblack for posting this on the message board.
Update - The webring service has responded to my "cease and desist" letter. Rather than removing the webring for illegal activity, they simply made the webring owner remove any referance to this zine. In addition, the webring service's representative resorted to "schoolyard tactics" in order to censure this publication's words and attempted to chastise me for my above news alert to readers, despite the fact that this publication is based in the USA and is protected by the First Ammendment.
In accordance with Fair Use Laws and US Property Laws I will be publishing the email for all readers to read and comment (good/bad/indifferent) on.
As many of you know, this is not the first "negative" email to this zine. Nor will it be the last. One can not please all of the people all of the time. But I will be damned if I will sit idly by and let another profit (financially, mentally or physically) from my hard work.
Other News
As some of you may notice, Jade/Gothism has gone by the wayside. No new updates. No new articles.
I'd like this to change.

J a d e/Gothism is expected to be back in full, by the end of May 2005.
Including new site design with is so desperately needed. Finger's crossed I have time to get it redesigned.
