Fire Steed

Gallop, gallop until you fly.

You step through a pasage.

It was a lovely day and you deside to take a walk through the woods behind the old house you are vacationing in. Things had been quiet enough while you had been there so far so you weren't expecting the adventure your little stroll would come to be. Things were perfectly normal the sky was blue and the path was well cut and made for easy traveling. Nothing stood in your way and things seemed just the way they should be. That is until you saw that clearing and your curiosity got the better of you. It was at first hidden by all of the over growth but you thought you saw a second path and was quite eager to find out where it led to. So you took out that old pocket knife that had been in the family for years and cut away at the anoying overgrowth.. Soon you were runing down the path in your exitement and curiosity. You came to an abrupt halt because you had seen a stone door. Or at least it seemed to be a door. It had a handle on it. On the front was a carveing of a beautyfull winged horse. You pulled on the hadle and with long minutes of frustration finnaly get it open. You open the door to reveal a tunnel that you go down, holding that lighter you had gotten at the gas station on the way to the vacation spot. It had proven usefull as a torch to light the way. With the lighter poised in the air you made the trip in. At the end of the tunnel you find a room with a stone pegasus at he end of it. All over the walls are storys of winged horses carved so very delecately. These are the storys you read here.

Jazeem who wants to fly

Jazeem never got to do anything. She was the daughter of theleader stallion and he would not prohibit her to domuch at all.Worst of all she had never fallen in love.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Luckely her marehood serimony was comeing up inb three days. She was still a legal filly. On her fith berthday she would finnaly be an official mare or adult.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     On the day of her serimony a handsome colt about as old as she was had come to her fathers teritorry. Her father was in a good mood and let him stay for the night.                                                                                                                                                                                                        Jazzem ended up sneaking out to see the young stallion. It was love at first sight and the couple made plans to run away together. She was disgruntled because she could not find a way to escape unless they sprouted wings and flew out. The lans were well guarded and would not allow the tw to pass.                           Jazeem found herself stareing in shock at her new found lover. For at the very moment she had said this he realy had grown great long wings. He nuzzled her shoulders and she grew wings as well.                                                                                                                                                                          A very mad leader could be heard the next morning. His daughter had been taken away by an outcasted roudy colt. He spent the rest of his wery day searching for her, but to no avail. They were in the land of flying horses were noone could find them.

Race to Freedom

We all stared at the stopwatch in amazement. This horse was probly goning to take us as far as we needed to go. Just by chance Luke the main trainer had baught a horse in a spur of the moment desision. He knew that that was the worst way to buy a horse but he saw it was suffering and he had to get it out of that inviroment. So Winged Freedom became ours. I imediatly liked him, but I didn't think he would ever amount to anything. We tried him at the training track anyway and to the suprise of Amy the wife of the trainer, Sam the trainer, And me a nineteen year old groom, He had a amazeing time. Amy and I stared at Sam who had that `I told you so` look of satisfaction on his fase. So we would  focus his training and go to the Watson rase to win. I soon noticed he Had a look in his eye when locked in his stall. His chest would be presed against the door and those myserious eyes full of secrets of his past would be stareing out the window in desperation. I took this foolishly as a beg to be let out to the padock. So I took him out, but as soon as he was let out he ran strait to the far end and presed his chest against the fence. I dis regarded this until the night Three days before the race. That night we had let him stay out so he could get some fresh air before he was put in the trailer the next day. I had stood at barn to clean up and ready the tack for shipping.I was cleaning a halter when I heard desprate whinnies comeing from the south padock. I went out to see Winged Freedom raming his chest against the fence as if to break free. I quickly ran to stop him so he didn't hurt himself. Then I saw the desperation in his eys as he looked longingly at the stary sky. At seeing this I made a desision. Just like he had come Winged Freedom left with a spur of the moment desision. I swung open the padock gate and yelled his freedom to him. It only took a fraction of a second for him to relize the opritunity and take it. You may think I'm crazy when I tell you this but I will anyway. Halfway down the slope Winged Freedom lept into the air, sprouted wings, and flew! I wrote a letter telling Sam what I had done and seen along with the confesion of quiting my job.

Silver Lake

We were all very ditressed. I beleive I was the worst though. I Renae, my husband Mitch, and my two daughters Alexis and Fila owned and ran an arabian breeding fecility. Mitch was also certified to train horses. We were upset beacause our horses had been vanishing right out of the padock. We were missing three horses so far. One being my favorite Crystal Paradise. We had done everything in our power to find the missing horses but  were always left emty handed. The fifth night from the first loss I had a dream. At first I thought it was Crystal from heaven. But I soon relised she was not dead and she told my to head out to the padock at exactly midnight. I did as my Crystal Paradise said and found a shocking sight. Alegro Just, Mitche's horse was walking tword the lake in the middle of the padock. The lake was one of the reasons we baught the place. At midnight on a clear night you could see the moons perfect reflection. It was the most beautyfull scene our family had ever wittnesed.  Alegro Just stepped int the water and in the center of the moons perfect reflection. I was the only one there to see this so I wondered if Mitch and the girls would beleive me. Alegro only stood there for afew seconds before he began to sink. The odd thing was the pond wasn't nerly that deep. I was to dumbfounded to move so I stood helplessly outside the padock. As I went inside I faught over what I saw and what I beleived. I was to shocked to awaken Mitch so I just layed down to finish the nights rest. It seemed I only had afew minutes of pease before another dream interupted my sleep. Crystal Paradise stood over me as she explaned what was going on. The lake was a portal to the land of flying horses. The horses that were lost were there and were not coming back. I was to name the lake Silver Lake and convert the property into a retirement home for horses. It turns out Alegro Just had come into Mitche's dreams as well. Alexis had a visit from Monotiny and Dicon had visited Fila. So it was decided. We converted the stables to Silver Lake retirement and made money by taining horses. Wenever became to full because all of them became winged horses in Silver Lake.

The Blue Acoustic and the Unsuccessful Musician Ch1

Randy Crew strummed on his guitar carelessly. His hippy clothing depicted perfectly his easy going nature. Round sunglasses rested on the end of his nose. Long mouse brown locks swayed in the wind. His fingers danced lightly on the strings, calling forth this gentle beast.
He rested easily on a flat rock, wich was placed under a bowing oak in the middle of this flower filled meadow. It was from within the mass of long tangled grass that it emerged. Sleek flesh, the color of honey , with a white splash down the face like war paint. A milky mane and tail drifted in the wind. This was Sunnook, the palomino of freewind. It was as wild as a free lance artist, the wind, or flames gone out of control., but it became gentle as a lamb when near the unsuccessful musician and his music known only to it as wondrous.
Just like every other day, Randy played it his newly written songs, usually about freedom, women, or becomeing someone. The mighty beast layed down at his feet to hear th plucked notes.
The guitar was acoustic, the color of moonlight. Stars marked the frets in silver glory. The music came freely with no sheets of notes to falter it.
  "Free as the wind,
  Glory is mine,
  Gona do my best,
  Meet the test,
And fall in love with Caoline!"
Randy stopped playing and touched Sunnook on the head. "If only man would see, or hear more like, like animals do. They could find harmony in my words. Egh ol gal?"
Randy could not forsee his or Sunnooks destiny. But if he had he surrly would have...   Never mind, you can find out.
