"Jacqui's Cards"

Of all the cards to send, a real one is best, but sometimes that just isn't possible and so these pages are all about free email cards for use with Outlook or Outlook Express ( and perhaps even g-mail), the cards are made in PhotoImpact using (Free) graphics that I've collected over the years, many of the graphics used have come from Outlaw designs and other free to use graphic sites, I've simply created a blank graphic, added the resized and in some cases rejuvenated (cleaned up/recoloured) web graphic and layered design elements such as colour, frames and lighting over the top and "voila" an ad free e-card that you can place in your email, you can even personalise it by opening the card in mspaint and adding your own text.

To use the card simply right click to "save picture as" save to the desired folder, then when you're ready to add it to an email, go to the body (where you write) area of your email, click the import picture icon, center the picture and add background colour and you're done.

To add background colour you need to click the source tab at the bottom of your email page, if this isn't showing, go to "view" and check "source edit" now you'll have 3 tabs showing at the bottom left of your email, click "source" this will show you the html code, approx seven lines down you will see <bg color=#0000 or whatever, just hilite over the #000 part and type in the colour name suggested above the card or a colour of your choice, click the "edit" button and you're ready to go.

I hope you enjoy the cards and please feel free to use them as often as you like, although they will be changed regularly according to the season if I happen to miss an "occasion" please leave a note in my guestbook and I'll do my best to include it. If I have inadvertently used a graphic in my designs that should NOT have been available as free please accept my apologies and leave a note in my guestbook, it will be removed immediately!
