Jack Blanchard & Misty Morgan

Quick....I am going to give you a word and you tell me the next thing that pops into your head...salt...pepper, right? Ok, again...bacon...eggs, right? In...out, right? Once more....day...night, right?

The same thing works with people too. Adam.....Eve, right? Abbott....Costello, right? Sonny...Cher, right? Jack Blanchard...Misty Morgan...right?

See what I mean? Some things are inseparable in our minds. You can't think of one without thinking of the other. That's why on this website I have decided to do something a little different from the other family websites and have this be about both Jack and Misty.

In The Beginning...... Jack and Misty were born in Buffalo, New York at Millard Fillmore Hospital ( Jack on May 8 & Misty on May 23).

Both had parents named John and Mary ( Jack's dad was John Wesley Kuntz and his mom was Mary Florence (Virginia/"Sissy") Blanchard. They both had sisters named Virginia. Jack also has a sister Valerie(me) and Misty had a brother Bob.( Misty's family were the Donahues and Griffins).

They both have extreme musical talent, they are both gorgeous with brown hair and blue eyes. They both lived in Southern Ohio before coming to Florida where they met. They can both trace their ancestry to the Alsace-Lorraine area of Europe.

They each are parents of great kids from previous marriages. Jack's are Kathi, Donn and Michele and Misty has a daughter Susan.

I am at a bit of a disadvantage writing this because I know a little more about Jack than I do Misty. The fact that he is my brother accounts for that. And although Misty is like a sister to me I wasn't around her till she was grown so I don't have firsthand knowlege of little ancedotes like I do with Jack.

According to the family stories, Jack learned to play the piano by rolling a grapefruit up and down the key board. We all know the rest is history. Misty can play any tune after hearing it just once and her singing is the greatest..

They are both sweet sensitive genuinely nice people and fun to be around. They keep the humorous banter going all the time even off stage.

Misty is a great cook and makes spaghetti that rivals Sissy's for the worlds best.

As we all know Jack is multi-talented. He is a great writer and artist as well as excelling in the music field.

They have won many awards for their music. Their first big hit was "Tennessee Birdwalk". There are many more too numerous to mention here. ( I will include links to Jack and Misty's websites so you can read all Jack's great essays and hear their tunes and catch up on all the news involving their career.)

Some of their songs are hilariously funny and some will tug at your heartstrings and make you cry. They all make you think. They are all gems. There is nothing else like them.

Their music is played all over the world. They have many famous friends. They have reached heights in their career that most can only dream about. None of that has changed them from the down to earth friendly people they have always been.

Having Jack and Misty in the family has made us all very proud and has set a great example for us that I am sure future generations will follow . The formula that has worked for them... Believe in yourself and your talents. Do what you do best.

They have traveled extensively and Jack say's no matter where they are Misty has a way of making it feel like home.

They are the perfect couple. As I said in the beginning of this bio they are inseparable in our minds. Well, that is because they really are inseparable. They are the perfect complement to each other. Rarely do you run across a pair that is as perfectly matched as they are.

I am so glad to have had them in my life. I have been inspired by their talents and enjoyed their company and their music for many years.

Misty and Jack's contribution to the world of music will live on forever .

This website was just meant to be a little glimpse into the lives of two really cool family members that are a great team.There is so very much I did not include here for lack of space.(One could fill volumes with their story.)

There are many stars in the sky. In our family sky, Jack and Misty shine brightly.

PS: I have only two items I have kept from my childhood .They mean more to me than any other possessions I have ever had. One is a beaten up old stuffed Panda bear named Angie and the other is a pink chalkware piggybank named Hamlet that was won at the fair. They have been a source of comfort and joy to me since I was about four or five years old. They were both given to me by my big brother Jack.
