OUR SALES POLICYPlease read carefully
Policy varies slightly depending on specie of animal to be sold.
We do not sell animals before they are weaned off their mother:-Rabbits 5-6 weeks
-Lambs and goats 8 weeks
-Crias 6 months
All ages of weaning are approximate and are subject to individual assessment of needs. PLEASE do not ask us if you can have the animal before the specified date.
All animals are healthy at time of release to the best of our knowledge. We do not knowingly sell a deformed or sick animal. We work closely with our vet and all disbudding, docking, castrating will be done by her. HOWEVER, we cannot be held accountable for any remaining scurs ( horn buds) -we deal with the vet so that this happens as little as possible, but it is a possibility. We can provide proof of vet service. Equally, we do not perform ANY castrating (or other procedures) on demand. It is buyer's responsability to arrange for any interventions they wish to have done to the animal and this MUST be done after pick up, not at our farm.
We only sell with a signed contract and receipts.
We require 50% deposit to hold most animals. Animals on hold remain the property of the Itsy Bitsy Farm until the animals are paid in FULL. Deposit is refundable ONLY if something happens to the animals while in our possession. Once deposit is received the animal is kept for the buyer and thus if the buyer has a change of heart it is at buyer's expense:deposit WILL NOT be refunded and once notification is given to us by email or writing, the animal will no longer be held for the buyer and is on the market again. The balance will be due at the time of pickup.
We accept cash ,email money transfers, money orders and Paypal , but with an added expense.
Please note we are not vets, we can only give our opinion about certain situations and share our experience . HOWEVER, our advice or experience is NOT meant to replace that of a vet. We strive to offer excellent customer care and will help out as we can during the adjustment period previous and following the adoption of your new pal, but we expect and encourage the new owners to seek out the information they need to care for their new addition by consulting associations and veterinarians.
