We raise a variety of animals for pleasure.
We raise
Suri and Huacaya alpacas for plenty of wonderful soft, light and very warm fibre without the prickle
Llama/alpaca crossbreeds for use as guardians
triple- purpose Icelandic sheep for their lovely lean meat, lots of rich milk and great fleece-they are hardy, good tempered, prolific and low wasting.
Horned and Polled Dorsets to crossbreed with the Icelandics for a faster, larger growing lamb.
Shetlands/Icelandic crosses , exquisite, low lanolin wool.
Dairy goats specifically Nubian and Saanen, for lots of milk, (Welcome to Grover from Elishka farms, home of many National champions!)
Pygmy goats as they are so endearing and so much fun for the family to raise.
Angora goats to get mohair for crafts, felting and yarn as it is so shiny.
We breed different fowl from quail, to guinea fowl, to turkeys to ducks and all kinds of fanciful laying or dual purpose chickens. These provide us with eggs and meat... and much entertainement.
We breed rabbits mostly Fawn Flemish Giants and crosses for meat New Zealand, Chinchilla and California. Angora rabbits for beautiful soft luxurious wool.
We have one breeding Jenny (donkey) because there is nothing cuter than a baby donkey!.

We often offer refuge to animals in need of a forever home. This past year -2008- we took in 9 llamas.
Please contact us if you have a precious pet that is in need of rehoming.
Many of our pets have been surrendered to us.
We garantee a forever home, complete with attention, high end feed stuff and vet care.
We only take in child safe animals and at this time we must feel the animal's health is completely safe for our farm. We DO PRACTICE QUARANTINE.
