While potentially based on paleofelids or false saber-tooths of the Nimravidae family, to many readers, the Hunters are indeed true-felines (as the books often refer to them) of their own evolutionary line, as mysterious in origin as they are in their cognizant bearing. It is acceptable (if not requested) that those attending ItM continue to refer to them as cats (felines, felids, etc…) in order to remain in accordance with the novels, and for the sake of simplicity during Role Play.

Should you choose to Role Play a Series Character, it is requested that you post at least three times a week. If you vanish without warning and remain absent for the duration of seven days, your Series character will be placed on hold. Two weeks results in its removal, and it will be up for grabs again, by different Role Players. The same applies should you receive three ‘holds’ within a month’s passing.

If an Rper utilizing a Series Character (such as Fessran, Thakur, etc..) leaves the Role Play - fairness dictates that the feline in question will be placed up for dibs again, for the simple fact that Rpers who have read the books will seek interaction with them.

Chika - fessran’s daughter.

There are certain Characters in the novels that are of significant importance, as they play a vital role in the development of the books. Because they contributed such a magnitude of substance in the novels , naturally, their value is carried on into the RP
In order to play the following characters, one needs previous writing experience, an open mind, willingness to work with others, continuous activity on the boards, and a bit of background knowledge regarding the feline itself. If you have not read the books, this information may be emailed to you - should you complete the request form.

*Ratha - Herder of the Red-Tongue, Leader of the Named.
*Thakur - Named Herding Teacher and trusted advisor to Ratha, current Clan Leader.

True-Of-Voice: Singer of the Song, and chief of the Hunter Tribe.
Quiet-Hunter: Thistle-Chaser's intended mate, member of the Song Keepers.
The Black, Nightling - Female, rebel-council member of the Un-Named.

It is necessary to protect the significance of the above Characters. should you wish to Role Play one, you need to:
1.) Send in a sample Role Play post, containing any topic under the sun to ItM_management@hotmail.com
. Write it out exactly as you would a true RPG thread. Express your talents and creativity to an extent that is comfortable for you.
2.) Relate to management whether or not you require background data on the felid in question.
3.) Remain active, no matter how dead the boards may appear. Inactivity on your part will result in the removal of your Series character. This ensures that novel-cats continue to perform their critical appearance in the RPG, enabling others to interact with them.
