Those who speak and bear the 'light in the eyes' call themselves 'The Named'. It is a title commonly earned through birth alone.
Their intellect has granted them many talents, including the comprehension necessary to herd - as opposed to hunt. This removes many of the risks and uncertainties of a stalker's lifestyle - but has made them poor hunters.
They also possess the deadly power of the Red Tongue, a Clan word for Fire. Many a foe has died beneath the blaze of a herder's torch, or fled in fear of the bright, hated beast.
Outsiders seeking to join the Clan must first attain the people's approval. However, the Clan Leader may deny their wishes and choose the opposite of their verdict. Therefore, all Clanless ones hoping to sustain place with the Named must share conference with the Clan Leader, and gain his/her stated acceptance. | |

Chanah is exceptionally lithe. Her body is a dusky fawn, or a light brown. She lost all of her cub spots when she matured. Her tail is longer than most Named cats, and the tip has no tuft.

She sustains a den at Clan Ground. Because she is highly social, Chanah dwells well within Named territory.

History:
Chanah like may Clan Cats, is a full-Named feline. She was introduced to adulthood shortly after the coming of the Red Tongue. Her thin swift frame serves the Clan as a Herder. Though small, she is not intimidated by the thought of battle. Chanah has birthed two litters. Nyah is her only surviving offspring. All others died shortly after entering the world - before having had the chance to open their eyes. She is proud that Nyah will help the Clan as a Herder, but is afraid for her well being. Chanah does not wish to see her only daughter harmed.
