They are of One mind, and dimly recognize themselves as One entity, a force that must share in all of its struggles, as well as its victories. Certain individuals however, are more suited to precise tasks, and so are placed on a different path of the Song, to carry out exclusive duties. For example, True-Of-Voice would not ask an infant Cub, or aged Elder to hunt or fight off enemies. Instead of Ranks or Titles, specific Hunters are made susceptible to specialized strains of the Song. These magical threads are referred to as ’Song-Paths’. They are bestowed by True-Of-Voice, and the Ancestral knowledge itself. They are only issued when necessary, and cease when no longer required. As Role Players explore the Hunter Tribe and their many peculiarities, more ‘Song-Paths’ may be revealed. Remember that these are not Ranks or permanent strains, but specific threads of a universal rhythm that may transpire from one feline, to the next.
