Hunters are extremely unique, and to some, quite difficult to understand. They adhere to a telepathic rhythm called 'The Song' - mind-bound voices of ancestors long passed, a weaving chant that blends into sight, sound, and smell. encompassing all of their actions and thoughts. They do not recognize the meaning of 'I' or 'You' as they comprehend only unity, and not singularity, especially in terms of One or Another's 'Self'. The Hunter Tribe shadow colossal Mammoth herds as they plod their shaggy bodies along inherited migration routes. While these cats will defend the giants they follow against other carnivore assaults, they do not herd the beasts. Usually, a feline must be born into the Hunter Tribe, or related to them in order to 'here' the Song, but it is suspected that some individuals void of Hunter heritage may potentially percieve the awe-inspiring melody. Outsiders seeking to join the Tribe must first 'hear' the Song, and attain its approval. However, True-Of-Voice, their Leader, may see things in a different light. Therefore, all Clanless ones hoping to sustain place with the Hunters must share conference with True-Of-Voice, and gain his/her stated acceptance.
