Senior Section

The Senior Section is the section of Girlguiding UK for young women aged 14 to 25.

Members of the Senior Section may be Young Leaders, Adult Leaders (up to 26), or belong to our Senior Section Ranger Unit launched in September 2005, nicknamed DIVAs. They have had great fun since their launch having already had a number of sleepover & survival nights. Many of the girls are working towards their Duke of Edinburgh awards.

Many of the girls put forward for International Opportunities (INTOPS) are from the Senior Section and we have had another 3 girls chosen from Itchen Valley this year to attend Region and County trips abroad.
