Pokemon: Islands of Islar

Discliamer~I don't own pokemon, but I do own the one's I have made up, and I do own the Islar region. not much else to say now, except read and be happy (^_^);

Title: Secret of Rainbow tower
````````````````````````````````````````````

Stella looked out over the ocean waves, the sea breeze blowing through her hair. She sighed as she took in the scenary, however her sigh was not in content. She sighed because she didn't really care much for the ocean. Living on an island all her life had made her a little tired of the ocean all the time. She envied people who lived on just one land mass, like Johto or Hoenn.

"Oh well," Stella sighed as she watched some Wingull fly through the sky. Star came up beside her, pointing to the east side of the ship, which was the opposite side from which Stella was looking.

"What is it?" Stella asked as she followed Star to the other side of the ship. "Land!!" Stella yelled in glee as she saw the island that Star was pointing to. It was huge, and Stella instantly turned her boat in the direction of the island.

Meanwhile Allie was enjoying the sun as were Eve and Pyro. Eve stretched her legs out and Pyro was fast asleep. Then Allie's pokedex began to yell at her "Hey kid, there are two islands up ahead. Rainbow Island and Biege Island. However, Stella is at Rainbow Island now and Thatch is heading toward Biege Island."

"How do you know where Stella and Thatch are at?" Allie asked in curiosity.

"I have a locater chip in me that can locate where Thatch and Stella's Pokedexs are at all times." Dexus replied. "And they can locate us as well."

"That's cool. I think I'll head to the rainbow island you mentioned." Allie said. She turned the sail in the direction of rainbow islend as she thought "I would go to Biege Island, but Thatch is there, and, well, I'm really uncomfortable around him lately, for some reason. Oh well," Allie sighed loudly, which woke up Pyro.

"Py, py, rara, py?" Pyro looked up at Allie from his spot on the deck.

"It's nothing, I was just thinking." Allie told Pyro who shrugged and went back to sleep. Eve looked up at Allie and sighed. She knew that she was thinking about Evan's trainer. Eve didn't know why though. She missed her brother Evan sometimes, but it was great to journey around with Allie.

Soon, Allie had docked her ship upon Rainbow Island, and sure enough, Stella's ship was on the same shore as her own. Allie stretched, as did Eve and Pyro as the walked across the sandy beach into the shade of the palm trees upon the island.

Pyro yawned and was soon asleep once again in the shade of the palm tree. Allie sighed and returned Pyro to his pokeball so he could sleep peacefully inside. She left Eve out as she got up and began to head into the lush growth of the island to see if she could spot any pokemon or such.

"Star, use your pound attack!" Allie shouted as Aroumer used her tail to propel herself forward, but her opponant dodged the attack.

"Use sweet scent to lower it's evasiveness!" Stella called out. Star used sweet scent, and her opponant, a wild Tailow, soon slowed down.

"Great, now use sleep powder!!" Stella shouted. Star rotated the petals on her head and a silvery blue powder flew from them and blew past the Tailow. His eyelids grew heavy as he hit the ground asleep. Stella grabbed a pokeball from her backpack and threw it at the Tailow. It hit Tailow squarley on the back and sucked him inside.

The pokeball gave a few shakes of protest, then stopped. Stella had caught a Tailow! "Yes, I caught a Tailow! I'll name him, Tally." Stella exclaimed as she ran over and picked up Tally's pokeball. She smiled as she held it above her head, and Star jumped up in glee along with Stella.

"My first pokemon capture." Stella smiled as she threw Tally's pokeball and let the small bird pokemon out.

"Tailow!" Tally shouted as he began to preen his right wing with his bright yellow beak. His bright eyes were cautiosly glancing at Stella.

"Tally, you don't need to be nervous, I'm your trainer now, and I will be world famous one day. If you stick with me, you'll be famous to, just like Star here." Stella said as she motioned towards Aroumer.

Tally stopped preening it's wing and glanced at Star, who was smiling. Tally then looked up at Stella and grinned a sideways grin. "Famous," it thought, "I could get to like this." Tally then yelled "Tailow low!!" in delight.

"Knew ya'd agree, now let's explore this island thingy, so I don't have to get back in that stupid boat for awhile." Stella sighed as she and her pokemon continued towards the island's center.

After a few hours of uneventful travel, Stella, Star, and Tally came to an extremally tall tower, which was Rainbow in color.

"Who would build a tower in the middle of some townless island?" Stella thought aloud as she approached the tower. She ran her hand across the tower's smooth marble surface as she walked along the side, looking for the entrance.

She soon came to a rather large opening on the northern side of the tower. Stella peered inside, however the inside was dark and she couldn't see much. "Well, this stinks. If only I had a fire pokemon, I could light a torch." Stella said aloud as she folded her arms across her chest.

"Py? Pyra!" Stella heard a voice say from one of the bushes that surrounded the Rainbow Tower. Stella turned around and saw Pyro coming out from behind a bush. "Py, pyra?" Pyro looked up at Stella with a confused look upon his face.

"Pyro? then that must mean that Allie is here." Stella said as Tally landed on her shoulder. Sure enough, from behind the bush that Pyro had appeared from, came Allie and her Eevee, Eve.

"Hey, Stella." Allie called as Pyro ran back over to Allie.

"Hey, Allie. Where's Thatch?" Stella asked as she looked down at Allie's Eevee. "And when did you catch an Eevee?"

"Well, Thatch continued on to a differant island, and Thatch and I caught an Eevee each while we were training on Limegreen Island." Allie explained, then she peered up at the tall tower in front of them. "What's that tower?" she asked.

"Not sure, I was just wondering that same thing. Do you think Pyro could light a torch for me, so I can explore this tower?" Stella asked.

"Sure he can, but only if we can come with you to explore the tower." Allie replied.

"If you must. Star, return." Stella recalled the grass bear pokemon back into it's ball. "Wouldn't want any embers to fall on my Star." she explained.

"Okay..." Allie looked down at her two pokemon and thought that maybe one pokemon would be easier to keep track of in this mysterious tower. "Eve, return." Allie then went over to a nearby tree and picked up a branch. "Pyro, could you light this for us?"

"Py? Pyra py." Pyro's body became surrounded by flame, Allie held the branch-torch down at Pyro's back and lit the torch.

"I'll take that." Stella said as she snatched the torch from Allie. "Wouldn't want you to drop it."

"Hey," Allie called, but Stella ignored her.

"Let's go Tally." Stella said as she entered the tower with Allie not far behind.

"Tally?" Allie asked as she followed behind Stella and the torch.

"My Tailow, I just caught it not to long ago." Stella replied in a snobby tone of voice.

"Heh, I bet my Pokedex and Stella would get along rather nicely." Allie thought with a giggle.

"What's so funny?" Stella asked.

"Nothing." Allie replied quickly.

After wondering through the cave for a few hours, Allie and Stella had gone up several flights of stairs and could now see a statue ahead of them. The light of the torch flickering upon it almost made it seem as if the statue was alive.

As they got closer, they could see the statue was that of a large bird pokemon that had it's wings spread wide and it's beak open as it's feet were planted on a pedastool.

"What pokemon is that?" Stella asked as she examined the statue, passing her hand along the smooth stone that it was made of. Inside her pocket, Stella heard her pokedex ping on. Stella removed it and pointed it at the statue.

"Let's see now, ah, that pokemon is a Ho-oh. A Fire/Rainbow type pokemon. Ah, rainbow types. Did you know rainbow types are among the rarest in the world? In fact it was just recently discovered that some pokemon held this type. Did you know that Kecleon is also a rainbow type pokemon?" Stella's pokedex blabbed on. Stella flicked the off switch, which immediantly shut the pokedex up.

"So Ho-oh is what this pokemon is." Allie walked around the statue, it was so real. Allie then spotted an identical statue on the opposite side of the room. She headed in the direction of the Ho-oh statue and saw that this one had color. It had a golden beak and head comb, red feathers all along it's body, and huge rainbow colored wings.

"Stella, look at this one!" Allie shouted. She heard footsteps behind her as Stella ran up to the statue. Pyro and Tally not far behind Stella.

"Wow, this one looks so real." Stella ran her hand over this statue, and it felt soft, as if the feathers were real. "It even feels real."

Allie looked into the eyes and saw them glisten, then......blink? "Uhh, Stella, are statues supposed to blink?" Allie asked as she held a hand to her mouth.

"Not that I know of." Stella looked at Allie as if she was stupid, but say Allie was frightened as she looked up at the statue. Stella looked up at the statue too, and saw it blink as well. "A-Allie, something t-tells me this isn't a statue." Stella stuttered as she backed up.

"Do you mean, this is the real deal?"

"Looks that way." Both girls began to walk backwards as the "statue" let out an extremally loud caw. It then spread it's wings wide and flew across the room, land on the Ho-oh statue across the room.

The Ho-oh cawed loudly again before flying back across the room and grabbing Pyro in it's claw, then flying outside, where the sun had just began to set.

"Pyro!!!" Allie yelled as she heared the faint crys of her first pokemon. Allie spotted a flight of stairs in the room that they had not gone up and quickly ran up them, Stella and Tally in tow. They led to the top of the Rainbow Tower. "Pyro!!!" Allie shouted again.

Ho-oh circled around the tower and landed on the opposite side of the tower from where they were standing. Allie looked up at the eyes of the Ho-oh, which seemed none to pleased.

"Who dares disturb the great ho-oh?" Allie heard a faint voice say. Allie looked around, then spotted Stella, who's face full of terror showed that she had heard the voice too.

"Who-who said that?" Allie asked quietly.

The Ho-oh glared at her and she heard the voice again "It is I, the one you disturbed. Who gave you permission to enter my tower and disturb me?" this time, Allie could tell it was the Ho-oh, whom was using a form of telepathic communication.

"Uh..." she heared Stella squek beside of her, she turned and saw that Stella was frightened out of her mind. Allie was frightened too, but was managing to keep her cool.

"Err...Ho-oh, we didn't mean to disturb you. We came to this island and saw a huge tower, and decided to explore it." Allie explained. The Ho-oh cocked it's head at Allie, then flew up into the air and landed closer to where Allie and Stella were.

"And what gave you the right to explore whatever you wished? All you humans are alike, you always disturb and explore whatever you deem fit without any regard to what might be inhabiting it." Ho-oh looked sternly at Allie. "Human, what gives you this right?"

"I-uh..." Allie stepped back, as the Ho-oh took a step forward. "I was just, well, it looked empty, so we just..." Allie stuttered.

Ho-oh looked at Allie and dropped Pyro from it's claw. Pyro ran as fast as he could to Allie and jumped into her arms, shaking. "Th-thank you." Allie said as she hugged Pyro tightly to her.

Ho-oh looked at Allie once again and said "Human, the world doesn't belong to you. You can't just go exploring where ever you deem fit. Make sure you remember this the next time you wish to burst in on whatever you wish." Ho-oh spread it's wings and flew into the sky, a single rainbow-colored feather fell down from it's wing and landed by Allie's foot. Allie bent down and picked it up.

She looked back up at the sky where ho-oh had just been flying, but it was gone. Allie peered all around the tower, but the rainbow bird was no where to be found. Allie set Pyro onto the roof and put the feather into her back pack.

Allie and Stella quickly made their way out of the tower and then raced through the forest onto the beach. Stella and Allie said quick good byes before jumping into thier respective boats with thier pokemon and taking off from Rainbow Island. Niether of them would soon forget what they had just witnessed on that island.

Part 4 is done, next time, we find out what Thatch has been up to on Biege Island, and someone has thier first Gym battle. Please note that, although only 8 badges are required to enter the pokemon League, there are much more then 8 gyms in Islar.
