In the family Tree of DILAZAK you will see one person namely

MOHAMMED ABBAS KHAN

FOREFATHER OF VILLAGE SHAHJAHANPUR

MOHAMMED ABBAS KHAN came to INDIA during the Mughal period of SHAHJAHAN and organized to this village as Shahjahanpur

Today Shahjahanpur is a well known to every one and there is no need of any introduction because of DILAZAK PATHAN'S ethics, culture and tradition. Who are itself and still maintaining to their will & power among the other communities in the same manner as was earlier. The difference of prior to now is spoken language .The language of pathans is PASHTO but as on today pure URDU language spoken in this village which also a symbol of this village for other casts because of they can not speak the same in near by villages as well as in the main cities of WESTERN U.P.

Therere are various castes are living in this village specially Riyaya Khidmatgar and Riyaya Gher Khidmatgar.

But main domination is of DILAZAK’S

IN THIS VILLAGE ALL DILAZAKS ARE LIVING IN VARIOUS MOHALLAS AND NOW THE MAIN DILAZAK KHAIL IS SUB DEVIDED IN TO SMALL KHAILS WHICH IS CALLED KHANDAAN ACCORDING TO THERE PAST HISTORY AS COMING FROM THE ORIGIN OF PATHANS.

In the light of family tree of Dilazak Pathans  which is as per the available documents, Later on I will try to explain about each KHAANDAN who is living in  village  SHAHJAHANPUR. Here it is also very important to explain that during the partition of INDIA and PAKISTAN some families of different KHAANDANS from this Village migrated to PAKISTAN and they are living in different cities of PAKISTAN.

The main aim to introduce the history of this village is to tell the present generation as well as to the coming generation about their forefathers, because of present generation almost can not tell more than about their FATHER and GRANDFATHER .As on today there are few persons who actually knows that who were our FOREFATHER but they do not know that when and why the FOREFATHER came here and how this village came in to existence?

Before this there was no any history about this village SHAHJAHANPUR in the form of book but   some families still keeping their SHAJRAS.

It is also very important to explain that this village have already been produced highly qualified personalities, which will be explain later on. Here point it self arise that being highly qualified personalities there was no one who can write their own history of this village and about their FOREFATHES?

What was the reason? there is no any clue.

But as on today there is one personality in this village who have write HISTORY OF THIS VILLAGE in the form of book with the name (TAREEKHE AFGHANAN SHAHJAHANPUR DISTRICT (MEERUT)/ )(ELAQA SURKH MANARAI SHIVGI WA SHAHJAHANPUR DISTRICT(MEERUT). QABEELA DILAZAK KARLANI,)

AUTHOR JANAB MARGHOOB AHMED KHAN KARLANI  Mohalla Misri Khail SHAHJAHANPUR (MEERUT). This book was published in Feb/March-2005.

In this book author JANAB MARGHOOB AHMED KHAN KARLANI did his best efforts to EXPLAIN the history of this village and about the DEEWAN MOHAMMED ABBAS KHAN, FOREFATHER .

WHY AND HOW THIS VILLAGE  CAME IN TO EXISTANCE?

God knows better it is true or falls but  coming generatio to generation that in a instance                          FOREFATHER DEEWAN MOHAMMED ABBAS KHAN was passing from this place along with their soldiers and he stayed for some times. During the stay DEEWAN MOHAMMED ABBAS KHAN saw some JACKALS and asked to their soldiers to leave the dogs on them. After seeing the result of the dogs that JACKALS killed the dogs, he thought when a JACKAL of this place could kill the dog then I must be settled down here and later on he settled there.

When DEEWAN ABBAS KHAN came to India and stayed at different places incluing Delhi, ultimately  he settled down permanently in this village.

When DEEWAN MOHAMMED ABBAS KHAN came to India and stayed in Delhi, then he joined the King JAHANGIR and AURANGZEB. After joining them he took part in different battles and shows his strength as a big warrior. See the ALAMGEER NAMA when the Birbal was killed along with their fifty thousand soldiers. In the same battle DEEWAN MOHAMMED ABBAS KHAN was also there along with his five thousand soldiers. ABULFAZAL explain his defeat in a bad manner that PATHAN is a”GHADDAR, KHOON KHUWAR, ZALIM and BAD TAREEN QISAM KA WEHSHI” but written by English author  about Pathan, as a WELL BEHAVE,HUMBLE, FAITHFUL, AND GREAT WARRIOR.

Word “AFGHAN”BAZBANE and in URDU PATHAN.

AFGHAN TRIBE always like and live without control over them by any ruler because of they do not like any body to rule over them in any circumstances. DILAZAK PATHAN WAS LIVED in KOH SULEMANI Independently. But due to migration to IRAN, They tried to live in such a place where no ruler could rule over them. The place where they permanently settled was MANA RAI or SHIVGI. At that place no ruler was there to rule over them. This belt was almost hilly.

DILAZAK PATHAN TRIBE likes that place due to hilly area as now AFGHANISTAN which has almost  hilly area. Almost all AFGHAN Tribes still living independently and they are AFGHAN.

In AFGHANISTAN the second name is PAKHTOON or PASHTOON, these tribes are belong to different places but all are AFGHANS. It means what they called upon but are PATHANS. All these tribes always like to live without any ruler as the history told us itself.

There are various contradictions among the historians about the PATHANS, as written by them, the origin of Pathans is from Qutbi, BANI QATOORAH, JABAL GHOR, KOH SULEMANI as a GHORI and SULEMANI also KHILJI

Conclusion of the above is that there were four SONS of DEEWAN MOHAMMED ABBAS KHAN.

DAULAT KHAN was only the son among the FOURS whose generation is coming up in Village SHAHJAHANPUR DISTRICT (MEERUT)

As you have already seen in SHAJRA that ORIGIN OF DILAZAK PATHAN’S(KARLANI). Here we are going to explain only about Deewan Daulat Khan whose generation is living in SHAHJAHANPUR VILLAGE.

ITRODUCTION:- DEEWAN MOHAMMED ABBAS KHAN was migrated from his native place MANARAI(BANRI)  or SHIVGI SHIVA MARDAN to INDIA. SHIVA is 12 mile far from MANARAI in the North West.

During the migration he stayed in the SARAI SUALEH Village of DILAZAK after that he came to JALANDHAR and stayed with his brother SED MOHAMMED KHAN who was living there permanently. He again leave the JALANDHAR and stayed for sometimes in KHURJA AND BULAND SHEHAR in U.P. and after that he stayed in DELHI which was the capital of SHAHJAHAN.

After staying in Delhi he was very near to SHAHJAHAN. In 1632 he combine the two non populated Village  TIGRI+KAKORI and give a name SHAHJAHANPUR. He put the name because of SHAHAB UDDIN MOHAMMED was the son of SHAHJAHAN. After arrival to DELHI he join to the DARA SHIKOH and in ACHRA LAHORE 22Oct1658 he resign and join to the AURANZEB and took the charge of HAZARI DO SAD SAWAR. With in five days again he took the charge of HAZARI CHAR SAD SAWAR and after three monthson dated 22 JAN 1659 he further took over the charge of KO HAZARI PANCH SAD SAWAR.

Further it also very important to explain that four sons  came along DEEWAN MOHAMMED ABBAS KHAN.

1-MOHAMMED KHAN:-Soobedar ORRISA which HUGLI,BANGAPUR,BIHAR near KOLKATTA.He permanently settled there. Now his generation is living there and there is no contact in between SHAHJAHANPUR VILLAGE and HUGLI. His grave is in the SHAHEED WALA BAGH , SHAHJAHANPUR. He was killed in any battle.

2-DAULAT KHAN:- His generation is coming up in SHAHJAHANPUR.

3-JUNED KHAN :-He was migrated to RASOOLABAD which is now known as NANPUR. It is about half kilometer from SHAHJAHANPUR.Still JUNED KHAN generation is coming up there. The NANPUR is also situated on main MEERUT , GARHMUKTESHWAR road in the east of SHAHJAHANPUR.

4-DILAWAR KHAN :-He was migrated to District Shahjahanpur in Mohalla DILAZAK or JALAL PURA. His generation is still there but there is no connection in SHAHJAHANPUR VILLAGE and District SHAHJAHANPUR.

DILAZAK was very big tribes at that time TERKANEDI TRIBES was already settled in AFGHNISTAN near by GHORI KHAIL,MEHMAND ZAI,and in KHAIBER AFRIDI were in trouble due to rise in their population .Along with DILAZAK KHAIL other KHELS were also settled in PESHAWAR near or up to river and in the area CHHACHA HAZARA. The area of Peshawar was very waste and under the control of DILAZAKS. There was a chance/space for more population of other khails. So DILAZAKS invite to other KHAILS including YOUSUF ZAI, and asked them to settled down there permanently.MALIK AHMED KHAN was the SARDAR of YOUSUF ZAI KHAIL. After that DILAZAK hand over them some area which was from Mehmand hills up to river in between SWAT and river Sangam including MANCH, SABAD,MATA,KATOZI, ABAZAI ,TEGRAM  handed over to YOUSUF ZAI KHAIL.The main reason for the same was that some families of DILAZAKS migrated from these places.A huge population of DILAZAK KHAILS were there. ALL WERE SAKA SHAHI TRIBES.

HEBOO KHAN WAS THE SARDAR OF DILAZAKS and the area of BAJOD up to CHANDOL was under his control.

Perhaps it was the great mistake by SARDAR HEBOO KHAN DILAZAK that he allowed to YOUSUF ZAI KHAIL in his area. During this a huge population of YOUSUF ZAI was also migrated there on invitation of SARDAR MALIK AHMED KHAN. After some time YOUSUF ZAI and KHALIL ZAI came altogether and attacked on DILAZAKS in which SARDAR HEBOO KHAN DILAZAK was killed by MEER JAMAl MUNDE and ultimately he captured his all valuable things like wise arms etc. It was very bad time for DILAZAKS because of after captured the area of SARDAR MALIK HEBOO KHAN, YOUSUF ZAI and KHALIL ZAI distributed the area among themsellf.

But after some times conflict stared in between SARDAR AHMED MALIK(YOUSUF ZAI) and KHALIL ZAI and KHALIL ZAI asked  for the help from SARDAR MALIK HEBOO KHAN DILAZAK’S SONS. Forgeting the previous conflict in which SARDAR MALIK HEBOO KHAN DILAZAK was killed they came altogether and attacked on SARDAR MALIK AHMED KHAN YOUSUF ZAI. This attack was of very high intencity in which SARDAR MALIK AHMED KHAN YOUSUF ZAI run away and leave the area. Any how he reached in NAWAGAI in 1517 after passing the GANDAB PANDAL and the other also migrated from here.

As explain earlier that there were four son of DEWAN MOHAMMED ABBAS KHAN  and one of them was DEEN DAULAT KHAN whose generation is still comming up in Village SHAHJAHANPUR.

During 1658-59 he participate in battle from the side of MUGHAL AURANGZEB along with his soldiers with a strength of  “HAZARI PANCH SAD SAWR 1000/500”. On the other hand INAYAT KHAN  SON OF DAULAT KHAN was on opposite side with a strength of soldiers“HAZARI PANCH SAD.

MISRI KHAN SON OF DAULAT KHAN was also with his father with the strength of soldiers”HAZARI PANCH SAD”.

NAHAR KHAN SON OF DAULAT KHAN was also there with a strength of soldiers”1000/2000.”

After resigning from his service NAHAR KHAN settled down in DELHI and organize KOONCHA NAHAR KHAN which is still in existence with his name.

All the above are in reference ALAM GEER NAMA ABBAS KHAN page 413,415,470. DAULAT KHAN page54,91, dated HATIM KHAN 15 alif,40 alif,28 ba ,pages 78,268. INAYAT KHAN AFGHAN pages 268,991. MISRI KHAN AFGHAN pages 53,305,454,455 dated Hatim khan 15ba,.

MISRI KHAN was awarded due to his great abilities in the battle field and was given the JAGIRS of village GHOHRA and MUDAFRA(MUZAFFARA) which is today on Kithore Hapur road and PHAPOONDA , situated on MEERUT and HAPUR road 8 km from Meerut. A garhi/pond was also constructed for his goodness whose debris can be seen today in GHORA. Occasionally he stayed in GHORA but permanent and good residence was in PHAPOONDA during old age he  lived there and also died . HIS GRAVE ALSO THERE near to SHAH RUKNUDDIN grave in a Garden. Yearly a URS is being organized there with a free meal to every one who participate in URS. In these days peoples of different community also comes here for prayer (Mannat). There was very old structure which was completely damaged but a shade was constructed by the Munshi Mohammed Tehsin Khan because of he was also a great personality being a deendar. Some peoples says that Munshi ji was very great deendar and he was belong to the mohalla SHEHZAD GAAN, but he was migrated to MEERUT CITY and was lived in JALI KOTHI which was the property of NADIR ALISHAH (baje wale). Because of he did the job of NADIR ALISHAH  to look after his property including other works.
