The New Jersey ISA Umpires Association  is responsible for both the assignment and umpiring of all ISA softball games played in New Jersey.  We are always looking for candidates interested in umpiring.  Umpiring is a great opportunity for people of all ages to make some additional money and stay involved with softball.

No experience is necessary. ISA conducts an annual Umpire Clinic for all umpires before each season starts.  Over the course of the clinic, perspective umpires gain an understanding of the rules of softball, learn proper positioning and umpire technique, and upon successful completion of a written exam and skill assessment, are offered membership for the upcoming season.

Individuals must be at least 18 years old to umpire.  For more information, you should contact New Jersey Umpire in Chief Mike Pero at 201 864-8679, or your local District U-I-C.
