Welcome to Diamantina Maine Coons. We are a small cattery specialising only in Maine Coons. Our beautiful girls live in our home as part of our family and all our kittens are raised in the home to ensure that they are happy, healthy and have good temperaments.
Our kittens are suitable as family pets and also as show cats.
Our breeding girls and boys have been tested for HCM and HD. All breeding cats are negative for the MYBPC3 gene. We take the health and welfare of our cats very seriously and consider these tests essential when breeding Maine Coons.
In 2004 a partnership was formed with Gradach Maine Coons. Gradach was established in 1993 by Ms Cath Walker and Dr W Walker and today is the oldest established Maine Coon Cattery in Australia. With our shared knowledge and resources we will continue to breed cats of good size, temperament and health.

Disclaimer: Screening for HD and HCM and the MYBPC3 gene is currently the recommended method to aid in reducing the occurence of these conditions in our breed. Breeders though cannot guarantee that their cats will not develop either of these conditions. Diamantina can though, guarantee, that we are diligent in our screening of our breeding cats in a continued effort to produce healthy sound Maine Coons to the best of our ability
