         Well its been a long time since we posted anything up here. The site has had an update and the band are attempting to get one too. We feel in order to progress further a new vocalist will be needed, get in touch if you can help us!!!!! EP's are still for sale in case ya want one people, get in touch with us for a CD or visit the OUR MUSIC page.

We are currently booking the Summer gigs, and we are hoping to spread further afield. Several festivals are lined up, information will be posted up when we get it.

Guildhall has been and gone. Its been hectic up till now but finally IRRITANT are off for a short break to record their first professional E.P. "Rock 'til You Drop". Recording starts tomorrow and its going to be amazin. The E.P. will cost £4 and will be avaiable from any member of the band or you can email order requests to gigs@irritant.tk a limited edition of the cd will be available from the band for £6 which will be fully signed.

The CD is guaranteed to be the best you will ever buy.

We have just opened the sell-out gig called New Deal Live at Gloucester Guildhall, and I think that it was the best damn gig we have ever done. And it's all down to you guys and girls - the audience was fantastic. You are what make it all worth the effort.

Once again IRRITANT have risen from the ashes. The new line up and new material is friggin AWESOME if you miss Guildhall, well, you are a fool! Its only £3 and you get to see IRRITANT in full heavy metal glory. 6th Feb this Friday 7:30pm. Its our biggest gig to date.

NEWS FLASH: IRRITANT will be recording their second (first major) E.P, on Feb 20th and 21st. This is yet to be titled but will feature the tracks :      HYPNOTISE - SURREAL WORLD - QUESTIONS - ROCK TILL YOU DROP

The E.P will also feature a bonus live track which will remain a secret until the release

Happy New Year to all you IRRITANTS out there. Unfortunately we are pulling out of the charity gig in Upton on the 7th of February due to the gig at Guildhall the night before taking priority. However, we are all set for guild hall, which is now less than 6 weeks away! We will also be doing a warm up gig at either the Pig Inn The City or Welsh Harp to get us back into the scheme of things. These will be the first performances of the new (and i can safely say better) revised IRRITANT. Watch out!

Following the departure of Martin, some people have seen it fit to spread rumours about IRRITANT and the future of the band and it's members.

These are all false

The most recent claims that Niall is leaving us. WRONG. Trust no-one. The band (this no longer includes Martin) will be the first to tell anyone of changes. Believe me when I say YOU WILL SEE IT HERE FIRST.

The band has been hit hard by the loss of a great singer, but we are taking our time to find the best possible solution. The way I see it, we have two options:

1. Take ages finding a new singer and frontman/women, male or female. We have found a few to put on the shortlist, so (Hannah) get that those CDs recorded showing us what you can really do. We need to hear you push your voices over the limit - scream, shout, yell and keep a melody everywhere else. 
2. Do it ourselves. Yeah we can sing very well actually.

As band we will take however much time we deem neccessary so we can continue making music for the future.

In the mean time, gossips, grow up. We know who you are. You're just jealous.

IRRITANT's style has developed into a heavy metal beast just waiting to be unleashed. After hours locked away the crafty devils came up with a master plan. The clever infusion of blistering solos, ear destroying frantic melodies and drop d riffage! Its really looking good right now. Gigs lined up after xmas and a few small venues hopefully before. Keep checking the site for more news and gigs.

Unfortunately there has been a split in the IRRITANT ranks because of musical differences and physical fitness. Martin has been with us since around June and jumped to the challenge immediately, fronting our first ever gig. He has since performed with us around Gloucestershire. We are all sad to see him go and wish him luck in his singing career - cos he has got a cool voice. However, IRRITANT are on the lookout for a new singer/frontman, so if you fancy your chances, say so!

From now on, IRRITANT Mach II will be infusing HARD ROCK into the Gloucestershire music scene, so watch out!!

Yo everybody. We have just played crackers, thought we went down well, and have ended our gigging streak to have a well earned rest over Christmas it seems. I am currently arranging some events at Guild Hall and some festivals after Christmas, i will keep you posted when we know some dates. We are also considering getting a serious recording done, and about the band stucture in general.

Hi Irritant fans and non-Irritant fans. We've had a busy time since our last gig. The boulder that is Irritant has started to roll. I've got the lyrics to some of our songs in the OUR MUSIC section - check them out. Most of them were off the top of my head, and although I wrote most of 'em I'm a bit rusty. Sorry Martin if I got them wrong. I have some pictures of our groove meister, Mr Niall Thomas showing off his 1960 Marshall Hendrix original amp, and I've edited the homepage photo to one with us all on. Finally! We've got ourselves a 100W PA for practices for only £50!! I'm quite chuffed about that. Will's dad's sorting out a 1200W PA for gigging with. Can't wait! I also made contact with another Irritant from Cheshire.
