Find the standard page maybe a little confusing? Well maybe I can help, with this page. To see the correct colors for hexing just hover over the picture.

Coat:
White Markings: 55 (preferred) or 95 in piebald or extreme spotting pattern. The muzzle must be white, preferably with a blaze. Feet and lower legs must be white. Little to moderate ticking is allowed on the muzzle and paws/lower legs (frontlegs - up to and including elbows, hind legs - up to and including ankles) but any more ticking anywhere else on the body is a DQ.

Nose:
39

Eyes:
65, 92, 55, 98 or dark 102, 105 . Judges prefer the darker shades.

Faults:
Light-coloured eyes. White on the ears. Lack of a white muzzle is a heavy fault.

Disqualifications
Ticking anywhere on the body itself. Heavy ticking on the legs and/or muzzle.

Breed Info:
Originally most Irish Setters were red and white but soon people became more interested in solid red dogs and then came along the modern Irish Setter. They are considered two different breeds though. The Irish Red and White Setter was first recognized in 1981. Its country of origin is Ireland. It was bred for a field dog, and is still primerily used as a field dog since they aren't recognized by many big kennel clubs. Today they are growing in popularity around the world. The Irish Red and White Setter is a pretty active dog and is very intelligent. They will need some regular brushing to keep their coat in good condition.
