Peace
and blessings of God be upon you.
We decided to launch this site considering the myths that circulate about Islam in the Media and by
ignorant people who may or may not carry the label of a "Muslim" who
do not know much about the faith and tend to attack the
faith without knowing anything about it other than the lies they have
been told. Know this...we are Persian and/or English speaking
Iranian (Persian) and/or American Muslims
who want to make sure that
people will know that to be Muslim is not the same as being Arab.
Only 18% of Muslims happen to be Arab. Infact, you can be White,
Hispanic, Oriental or African American
and be a Muslim! Islam sees no color or gender lines. The 3
original cultures that nurtured Islam were Arabic, Persian (Iranian),
and Turkish, however Islam has dynamically spread to the farthest
reaches of the earth and has melted with it's host cultures.
This is one of the reasons why Islam is the fastest growing religion
in America and The World! Unlike what you may have heard, All men,
women, and different races are equal under God. Muslim countries have
had Woman presidents, while we
still have not seen this in America. Please stay and learn more about Islam and Muslims.

Persian Muslim Youth
In order to preserve the religious and cultural identity of the Muslim
community in the West, diligent participation in Islamic cultural
activities is crucial. Historically, within a few generations, migrant
communities to the West have been overcome by alienation from their
roots and assimilation into the local culture. The loss of connection
with their respective lands intensifies the problem. In these regards,
the prospect of the Muslim youth is most sensitive. Beyond any doubt,
the future of Islam in the West is directly connected to the training
and achievement of our youth. In a western society, where secular
educational systems train our children, the family has the
overwhelming influence in preserving the Islamic and cultural
identity. Through the family structure, proportional to the efforts of
their families and themselves, Muslim youth become acquainted with
their Islamic identity and develop within it. Often, additionally
traveling to the ancestral land serves as the most influential
stimulus for the development of this identity. Contrary to causing
assimilation, utilizing the western advancements in science and
technology, the opportunities for obtaining higher educations and
higher echelons of living, and the freedom of the religious and
economical arenas could even help further elevate their Islamic
identity. These youth, equipped with the support of their culturesآ’
mature and valuable histories and the school of Islam, could in fact
become the best ambassadors of Islam to the West.

The Iranian flag
The flag represents religion (green),
peace (white), and courage (red). The central device consists of
four crescents and a sword symbolising the five principles of Islam.
This flag has been in use since 1979 until present.

Shia Muslim Safavid Dynasty Flag
The Lion represents Persia and it's
people. The Sun represents the light of God (Allah/Khoda). The sword is that of
Imam Ali, which is called "Zulfiqar". Something
interesting to note is that the curved sword is unique because it is
Persian in origin. The Arabs actually used straight swords,
like that of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The Straight swords
used by the Prophet are available for viewing at the Topkapi Palace
in Istanbul Museum in Turkey. The meanings of the
colors are same as above. This was the national flag.
The peoples flag had no insignias. The King's personal flag
had a crown on top of the lion and sun. This flag was used until
1979.
*Note: The reason why the Safavid Lion
flag was replaced with the new "Allah" flag was to differentiate it
with the secular former regime.
This website is for all Iranian Muslims,
Non-Muslims and all other Muslims of Shia, Sunni, Non-Sectarian and Sufi
inclinations. We do not discriminate because we are all
Muslims. If you would like to see who does discriminate
towards Iranian Muslims, it is Iranian Christian Evangelicals who
are the worst in disrespecting Islam. Ironically many Jewish
and Christian Churches in America are friendly towards Muslims, but
the ones that are not are the Iranian Christian Evangelicals (www.farsinet.com)
themselves! Islam teaches tolerance of other faiths,
especially the 2 other Abrahamic Faiths which are called "People of
The Book". Please visit
www.unionoffaiths.com to see how Islam teaches this union.
