I am a soldier in God's Army

I am a soldier in the army of my God. The Lord Jesus Christ is my commanding officer. The Holy Bible is my code of conduct. Faith, prayer, and the Word are my weapons of warfare. I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience, tried by adversity and tested by fire. I am a volunteer in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity. I will either retire in this army at the Rapture or die in this army; but I will not get out, sell out, be talked out, or pushed out. I am faithful, reliable, capable and dependable. If my God needs me, I am there. If He needs

me in the Sunday school, to teach the children, work with the youth, help adults or just sit and learn, He can use me because I am there! I am a soldier. I am not a baby. I do not need to be pampered, petted, primed up, pumped up, picked up or pepped up. I am a soldier. No one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me, or lure me. I am a soldier. I am not a wimp. I am in place, saluting my King, obeying His orders, praising His name, and building His kingdom! No one has to send me flowers, gifts, food, cards, candy or give me handouts. I do not need to be cuddled, cradled, cared for, or catered to. I am committed. I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around. I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside. I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit. When Jesus called me into this army, I had nothing. If I end up with nothing, I will still come out ahead. I will win. My God has and will continue to supply all of my needs. I am more than a conqueror. I will always triumph. I can do all things through Christ. Devils cannot defeat me. People cannot disillusion me. Weather cannot weary me. Sickness cannot stop me. Battles cannot beat me. Money

cannot buy me. Governments cannot silence me and hell cannot handle me. I am a soldier. Even death cannot destroy me. For when my commander calls me from this battlefield, He will promote me to Captain and then allow me to rule with Him. I am a soldier in the army, and I'm marching claiming victory. I will not give up. I will not turn around. I am a soldier, marching heaven bound. Here I stand! Will you stand with me?

Guess what? If you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior you're already enlisted! Question is, which part of the service are you in:

1. Active Duty: Serving the Lord faithfully, daily, and on duty 24-7?

2. Reserve status: Serving only when called upon or twice a year, Christmas and Easter?

3. Guard status: Backing up the Active Duty group? or

4. AWOL! Absent without the Lord?

Meaning of Flag Draped Coffin
 All Americans should be given this lesson. Those who think that America is an arrogant nation should really reconsider that thought. Our founding fathers used GOD's word and teachings to establish our Great Nation and I think it's high time Americans get re-educated about this Nation's history. Do you know that at military funerals, the 21-gun salute stands for the sum of the numbers in the year 1776?

 

Have you ever noticed the honor guard pays meticulous attention to correctly folding the United States of America Flag 13 times? You probably thought it was to symbolize the original 13 colonies, but we learn something new every day!

The 1st fold of the flag is a symbol of life.

The 2nd fold is a symbol of the belief in eternal life.

The 3rd fold is made in honor and remembrance of the veterans departing the ranks who gave a portion of their lives for the defense of the country to attain peace throughout the world.

The 4th fold represents the weaker nature, for as American citizens trusting in God, it is to Him we turn in times of peace as well as in time of war for His divine guidance.

The 5th fold is a tribute to the country, for in the words of Stephen Decatur, "Our Country, in dealing with other countries, may she always be right; but it is still our country, right or wrong."

The 6th fold is for where people's hearts lie. It is with their heart that They pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States Of America, and the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.

The 7th fold is a tribute to its Armed Forces, for it is through the Armed Forces that they protect their country and their flag against all her enemies, whether they be found within or without the boundaries of their republic.

 

The 8th fold is a tribute to the one who entered into the valley of the shadow of death, that we might see the light of day.

The 9th fold is a tribute to womanhood, and Mothers. For it has been through their faith, their love, loyalty and devotion that the character of the men and women who have made this country great has been molded.

The 10th fold is a tribute to the father, for he, too, has given his sons and daughters for the defense of their country since they were first born.

 

The 11th fold represents the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon and glorifies in the Hebrews eyes, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

 

The 12th fold represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies, in the Christians eyes, God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit.

The 13th fold, or when the flag is completely folded, the stars are uppermost reminding them of their nations motto, "In God We Trust."

 

After the flag is completely folded and tucked in, it takes on the appearance of a cocked hat, ever reminding us of the soldiers who served under General George Washington, and the Sailors and Marines who served under Captain John Paul Jones, who were followed by their comrades and shipmates in the Armed Forces of the United States, preserving for them the rights, privileges and freedoms they enjoy today.

There are some traditions and ways of doing things that have deep meaning. In the future, you'll see flags folded and now you will know why.

Share this with the children you love and all others who love what is referred to, the symbol of " Liberty and Freedom."

MAYBE THE SUPREME COURT SHOULD READ THIS EXPLANATION BEFORE THEY RENDER THEIR DECISION ON THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE.
 
FORWARD IT; MAYBE SOMEONE WITH THE NECESSARY POWER, OR POLITICAL AND FINANCIAL INFLUENCE, WILL GET IT TO THEM.

And America Needs You
Chaplains, Christian Workers, Disaster Relief and Unit Ministry Teams

From the beginning of our national history, Chaplains, as soldiers of God, have helped to shape the heritage of America. The first United States Chaplainry associated with the military was officially created by an act of the Continental Congress in July of 1775 upon the urgent request of General George Washington. Since that time Chaplains in the military have provided religious support to the citizens of our nation especially during times of crisis or disaster, and to soldiers and their families in war and peace.

Chaplains perform religious support, in preaching, teaching, and conducting religious services, in accordance with the tenets and rules of their tradition, the principles of their faith, and the dictates of conscience. This religious support includes providing and/or performing worship services, rites, sacraments, ordinances, pastoral and spiritual care and religious education to Nurture the living, Care for the dying, and Honor the dead.

Chaplains must be people of integrity who consistently live according to the highest principles of the distinctive faith groups they represent. As religious leaders, Chaplains continue to meet the vision of General George Washington in setting the standard for moral and ethical behavior by upholding the Chaplains’ values of being the bedrock of all Christian faiths, providing meaning and direction in life, measuring how we practice what we preach, providing compassion and love that sees beyond the surface and discerns our common humanity, establishing leadership by example, setting the standard for staff work and responsibilities and regardless of our religious affiliation being respectful of different views and ideas that are not like our own.

But, far too often, when Chaplains are needed for service to the military, veterans, or the civilian community, none are on hand. This became very apparent as a result of the attack on the United States of America on September 11, 2001 and various other attacks against her citizens around the world by various terrorist organizations. To help remedy this need, the United States Corps of Chaplains (USCOC) was formed. Chaplains of the USCOC extend religious support to our Nation's Veterans and into the civilian community.

As a part of its mission in following these traditions and principles, the USCOC is committed to providing military honors to Veterans of our Nation’s Armed Forces. It also assists and supplements the military with Chaplains and teams for funeral and counseling when they cannot, due to the lack of regular military Chaplains in the area. Units and personnel within the USCOC also provide disaster relief in times of emergency or tragedy in communities.

The USCOC is a non-profit civilian, volunteer, ministerial and disaster relief, public service organization. The USCOC is not an entity of, nor endorsed by, any branch of the military services or the United States government, but it is organized in military fashion with its members assigned rank and positions to best utilize each volunteer's talents and interests. Units are made up of these volunteers, which are formed into Teams, Companies, Battalions, State Brigades, Divisions and National Headquarters. The units contain Chaplains, Chaplain Assistants, Ministry and Disaster Teams and other support personnel as needed to provide ministerial, and disaster relief support. The Ministry and Disaster Personnel within the Company are usually designated in the smallest unit, the Teams.

Community Religious Support

USCOC Chaplains provide religious support in the civilian community with Chaplain Assistants and Unit Ministry Teams to assist. USCOC religious support is performed in conjunction with, or in the absence of, local religious institutions and ministers. Religious support in the community may include:

· Religious services: Worship, Funerals, Memorial Services and Ceremonies, Prayer services.

· Rites, Sacraments, Ordinances: Marriages, Burials, Baptisms, Confirmations, Blessings, Daily Prayers, other ministrations and religious requirements.

· Pastoral care: Visiting individuals, calling on families, activities and unit "ministry of presence", individual and group pastoral counseling, and similar pastoral activities. This may also include elements of the spiritual fitness-training program.

· Religious education: Enrichment, formation, study or instruction in marriage enrichment, problem solving, communication skills, parenting skills, youth programs, religious literature.

· Family life ministry: Training for facing family issues that may result from a disaster, stress, grief or loss.

· Institutional ministry: Supporting individuals and their family members receiving medical services. Institutional ministry occurs in hospitals and confinement or correction facilities.

Disaster Relief Support Operations

Support operations are conducted to relieve suffering and help civil authorities prepare for, or respond to, crises. Support Operations usually are conducted to relieve or reduce the results of natural or manmade disasters. They are also conducted to relieve conditions (such as pain, disease, hunger, or privation) that present a serious threat to life or loss of property.

During disaster relief support operations, USCOC units will many times need to interface with other civilian disaster relief organizations. Most of the civilian disaster relief organizations, including police and fire departments, will use the National Incident Command System (ICS) for responding to the various needs incurred in a disaster situation. Therefore, USCOC units and personnel must be trained in the ICS structure and procedures so as to be able to properly interface with those organizations.

Unit Ministry Teams During Disaster Relief Operations

The goal of a Unit Ministry Team during a disaster is the personal delivery of comprehensive, timely, and effective religious support to all victims and relief workers when a crisis, disaster, or emergency occurs.

This religious support must be comprehensive, because each individual involved has his or her own definition of what constitutes religious support. While not every spiritual need of every person can be met in the disaster zone, the Unit Ministry Team seeks to meet as many needs as possible. It must be timely, because time is a limited commodity, and the situation changes in the disaster zone. The Unit Ministry Team must be aware of the changing situation and prioritize ministry accordingly. It must be effective, because religious support must be more than minimal presence and a hurried service by the Unit Ministry Team. Quality effective religious support can provide hope and courage to individuals and families who are facing the stress of a disaster.

 and perhaps the most important question is, WHY DO the liberal media and other assorted Obamaniacs, scramble about and circle the wagons around Barack Hussein Obama EVERY SINGLE TIME QUESTIONS ABOUT HIM ARE RAISED?
That last question is already becoming the most important. 
When we released this commercial to the media on Thursday morning, the liberal 'blogosphere' went crazy.  Within hours, liberals had already put their smear-machine into overdrive.  And within hours we received scores of profane (and in some cases outright menacing) calls on our answering machine.
What's the bottom line? 
Simply put, LIBERALS DO NOT WANT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TO SEE THIS COMMERCIAL!
THEY KNOW THIS COMMERCIAL WILL DO MAJOR DAMAGE TO BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA! 
Please understand, the fact that you are reading this letter is an indication that, as a conservative and a patriot, you already know that BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA IS THE MOST DANGEROUS MAN IN AMERICA!
But the VAST MAJORITY of Americans are still spoon-fed news from the liberal media... a media which still holds a virtual monopoly on what most Americans read, see and hear... a media which has already shown itself to clearly be in Barack Hussein Obama's camp!

Is Obama Contradicting Himself When It Comes To His Upbringing?
At a January 15, 2008 debate, Obama said:
"In the Internet age, there are going to be lies that are spread all over the place. I have been victimized by these lies. Fortunately, the American people are, I think, smarter than folks give them credit for."
Of course lies have been around long before the Internet and unfortunately for Barack Hussein Obama, the American people ARE a lot smarter than he thinks!
On January 16, 2007,  Insight Magazine published a story titled, "Hillary's team has questions about Obama's Muslim background." 
The thrust of the Insight Magazine article is summed up in the lead paragraph: "Are the American people ready for an elected president who was educated in a Madrassa as a young boy and has not been forthcoming about his Muslim heritage?"
In response, the Obama campaign issued the following denial on January 23, 2007 which read:
"All of the claims about Senator Obama's faith and education raised in the Insight Magazine story and repeated on Fox News are false. Senator Obama was raised in a secular household in Indonesia by his stepfather and mother. Obama's stepfather worked for a U.S. oil company, and sent his stepson to two years of Catholic school, as well as two years of public school. " [Emphasis Mine]
But wait a minute!  Twelve years earlier Obama stated in his book, "Dreams of My Father:"
"In Indonesia, I had spent two years at a Muslim school, two years at a Catholic school. In the Muslim school, the teacher wrote to tell my mother that I made faces during Koranic studies." [Emphasis Mine]
While the word "Madrassa" has taken on some rather negative connotations, it's simply the Arabic word for "school."
By his own admission, Obama did attend a "Muslim school" and as required he engaged in "Koranic studies."
So why the need to parse his words?
Again, it doesn't really matter whether Barack Hussein Obama WAS a Muslim or not.  The important question is CAN WE TRUST HIM?
AND EVERY SINGLE TIME this commercial is seen, people of all political persuasions will ask that very legitimate question: CAN WE TRUST HIM?
That's why the Obamaniacs DON'T WANT YOU -- or anyone else for that matter -- TO SEE THIS COMMERCIAL!  That's why they're circling the wagons and preparing for battle!
That's also why YOU MUST be a part of this effort to make sure EVERY American sees this commercial.

If At First You Don't Succeed, Parse, Parse Again.
Obama's campaign website very emphatically states: "OBAMA IS NOT AND HAS NEVER BEEN A MUSLIM."
Moreover, the January 23, 2007 denial quoted earlier also states:
"To be clear, Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised a Muslim."
Obama went even further while on the campaign trail at the  Smoky Row Coffee Shop in Oskaloosa, Iowa:
"My mother was a Christian from Kansas, and they married and then divorced. I was raised by my mother. So, I've always been a Christian."
Of course, Obama's sister, Maya Soetoro, in a statement released by the Obama campaign said that Obama did in fact attend the Mosque with his family,  "for big communal events not every Friday."
As for Obama's mother Stanley Ann Dunham being a Christian, Tim Jones of the Chicago Tribune attributes the following quote to Dunham's best friend in High School, Maxine Box:
"She touted herself as an atheist, and it was something she'd read about and could argue. She was always challenging and arguing and comparing. She was already thinking about things that the rest of us hadn't."
As for the statement that he's always been a Christian, Obama recounts in his book, "Dreams of my Father" that he was not baptized until 1988.
"I remained a reluctant skeptic, doubtful of my own motives, wary of expedient conversion, having too many quarrels with God to accept a salvation too easily won."
That leaves us with a lot of contradictory statements (or maybe that's what he really means by "CHANGE"); 
1) The campaign says he was not raised Muslim but he attended Mosque with his family -- how often we really don't know!
2) His mother was a Christian who, according to a close friend, touted herself as an Atheist!
3) He was always a Christian but was not baptized until 1988?
Maybe Obama is just confused?  But if so, the question still remains,  CAN WE TRUST HIM?
The media will continue to give Obama a free ride. 
But you can ask the real questions and make a difference!

Is It A Media Conspiracy Or Just A Lot Of Sloppy Reporting?
Let's face facts.  The liberal media rarely REPORTS anymore... mostly it just DISTORTS!
And when it comes to Barack Hussein Obama, the liberal media only saves the hard-nosed investigative reporting -- and editorializing -- for his detractors!
Jonathan Alter of Newsweek attacked the Insight Magazine article calling it  a "Madrassa hoax," "grade-school innuendo" and "a pathetic little saga."
The Chicago Tribune used the term "Anatomy of a False Story?"
The Washington Post wrote disparaging terms such as "juvenile," "scurrilous" and "contemptible."
Of course, a couple of minor items in the Insight article were factually incorrect. 
The amount of time Obama spent in a "Madrassa" was stated as four years instead of two years and Insight referred to the "Madrassa" as a "Muslim Seminary" (it would have been more accurate perhaps to simply refer to it as a Muslim grade-school that provided two hours of daily Koranic instruction).
The liberal media was quick to point out those minor discrepancies.  Jonathan Alter, in particular, showed a sickening pro-Obama bias, editorializing and carelessly throwing out innuendos and outright fabrications.
Just one example:
"The subtext of the story was that Obama was some kind of Muslim Manchurian Candidate (or the Russian spy played by Kevin Costner in .No Way Out.) -- trained in an Indonesian religious school to be a jihadist who would do Al Qaeda's work from within."
One might wonder if Alter wasn't confused himself.
And in just about every single instance, the legitimate questions regarding Obama that were addressed by the Insight article went untouched and unacknowledged.
The liberal media isn't going to do the job!  We'll have to do it for them!
The liberal media will only expose Obama's detractors.  It's up to US to EXPOSE OBAMA!
