IPAL is a non-profit group of concerned people who educate others to the dangers of lead poisoning in children.
Iowa leads the nation in percentages of lead poisoned children. Our goal in IPAL is to have these numbers drop. We can only do this by educating others, having ALL children under the age of 6 tested yearly, and by having known lead hazard homes fixed.
IPAL is a support network to those who have lead poisoned children. Parents have many questions once they hear their child has tested positive for lead and the answers are not always easily found. We at IPAL attempt to answer all those questions.
