Inuyasha: *CRASH* --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's a question for Kisho from Elle: ------------------------------------------- Hi Kisho! So cool to meet you! I want you to tell me exactly how you met Kaede! ALL THE DETAILS: ANSWERES: Kisho: okay, but its gonna be long “Hey! She’s prefect for Kisho! Even if she is the mutt’s daughter, she still has her mother’s beautiful looks.” Kouga pointed out to his companion which left Kaede and even Kagome with blushes.
“Just hold on there a minute, flea-man!” Inuyasha started as he stepped in between Kouga and his daughter and began poking a finger against his armoured chest, “Who says my daughter wants to go with your son?! And besides, even if she did, I wouldn’t even let her go near your son!”
“Stop right there, mutt-face! How dare you insult my son like that you...”The two men continued to argue until a figure plummeted from another swirl of smoke that came out of nowhere. “Ah! Here he is now!” Kouga proclaimed with his arms thrown open into the air at the sight of his son. Kaede examined this wolf demon with the upmost interest.
He looked around the same age as her, maybe a couple of years older, and was about a half a head taller with a head of untamed black hair that spiked about. Poking out through his thick, sable locks at the sides of his head were two pointed ears and she noticed a brown wolf tail swaying about from his backside. His shoulders were padded with brown, fur armour like his father’s but connected up behind his back and hung down over his shoulder-blades. He had identical chest armour as his father as well as the fur kilt but had small fur pelts overlapping around his ankles instead of whole shin. He also had black gloves that cut off half way up his fingers and what looked like a wristband of fur wrapped around the middle of his upper arm. What caught her attention the most, though, were his sharp, dreamy green eyes that seemed to make her knees weak when he even cast a mere glance at her. He had to be the most handsome guy she’d ever seen in her whole life.
She blushed as he shot her a quick wink when he had realized she had been staring at him. He faced his father then asked, “Introductions, father?” Kouga grinned then shook his son’s shoulder as if to say, ‘That’s my boy!’ which gave his son an alarmed look. Kaede blushed again; he had such a soothing, rough voice.
“This is Kagome, a powerful miko, good-for-nothing dog-turd, their daughter, a demon exterminator, a monk, you know Shippou, and the others I’m not sure,” he explained lightly and his son gave him an unimpressed look then shrugged off his father and introduced himself,
“Well, I’m Kisho...Shippou! Long time no see!” Shippou grinned whole-heartedly and the both patted each other on the back in their chummy embrace. Kaede remembered how Shippou had explained in the past about Kisho: ‘...At the time, he had a son who was a year or two older than you whom he was training, too. I believe his name was Kisho...’
Kisho leapt back beside his father and mother as Kagome wondered as she had noted on both males’ speeds, “So, Kouga, you don’t have the jewel shards anymore so how do you and your son have amazing speed?” Both father and son cast quick glances at one another then stretched their legs out in front of themselves to be observed by the others. Everyone’s faces lit up in awe at the sight of the single pieces of jewel dug into each of their legs that glowed passionately.
“It’s called the ‘Cave Stone’,” explained Kisho, “My father searched for it for almost three years and when he found it, he split it into four shards and gave two to me. The good thing is, we can never take them out so we don’t have to worry about enemies trying to steal them if we are ever injured.” He looked up and his eyes locked with Kaede’s which was followed by a captivating smile that made her beam...and glow red, of course. She couldn’t believe how much she was blushing because of him. Someone must have thought she had a terrible sun burn and she was surprised no one had said anything yet until...
Kaede was shoved backwards into her mother’s arms from a forceful arm and scowled when she saw it to be her father who began embarrassing her, “You, stay away from my daughter. I don’t even want to see you looking at her! I know what you’re up to, you’re just like Kouga. But I’ll make sure Kaede doesn’t fall for your charms like Kagome stupidly did for your father.” Kaede’s tensed up with her mother and turned completely red with humiliation. Kisho even reddened from the comment. Kaede rocked her head back and forth, trying to wake up from this horrible, horrible nightmare. Then it occurred to her of how she could get back at her father. Kagome seemed to be on the same page, too, considering they both shouted the command simultaneously,
“SIT!”
The beads around his neck forced him down into the ground. As he struggled to stand, he continued to rant about Kisho so Kaede continued a couple of more times, “SIT, SIT, SIT!” A few moments passed, and all but weak groans were heard. The young teen girl nodded to herself with a smile then signalled for Kouga to lead the way to the caves. He cast a sly smirk down at the hanyou he despised then led the way for the group.
Inuyasha finally collected himself together from the crushed rock and soil and staggered after the group muttering, “Stupid word. I’d be happy if I never heard the word ever again...”
Kagome and Kaede arrived at a cave with the rest of the group trailing behind them. A wolf demon jumped out from the cave with his sphere in both hands. “Who are you and how dare you come near Wolf leader Kouga’s Cave! I....Kagome! I’m so sorry I didn’t know it was you now that you’re a priestess! Come in,” he exclaimed. “Thanks Ginta! It’s nice to see you too!” The whole group entered the cave and sat down in a circle. InuYasha sat between Kagome and Kaede, Yumi sat between Sango and Miroku, Yukio and Shippo sat beside eachother, and Kouga sat between Ayame and Kisho. As Kaede peered around the cave, yellow eyes peered back at her. She figured that they were wolves since the whole cave reeked of the scent. Her thoughts were interrupted by a low growl. She turned to her right and saw a ruffed up dirty wolf. It’s eyes glowed with a golden passion as it viciously stared at her. It took a step toward Kaede in an attempt to frighten her. But her eyes just turned golden and she reached out to the wolf. The wolf’s eyes turned suddenly scared like, and it was frozen with fear. Kaede’s hand still reached toward the wolf. It winced in fright because it was scared of her hurting it. But all she did was stroke it’s fur. The wolf closed it’s eyes in satisfaction and made it’s way beside her. Laying down right next to her, it rested it’s head on it’s paws and fell asleep. Kaede smiled and rested her arm on it’s back. Kisho astonished turned his view from the sight.
Kisho’s P.O.V.(before Kaede sat down)
I wonder how father knows that priestess, Kagome was her name I think. Also that half demon and their daughter...Kaede. She’s quite pretty considering that she’s a half demon. No, what am I saying! She’s a half demon! Why would I want to like her! I don’t care what father says or does, she is not going to be my mate! Hehehe let’s make this a little exciting. Naoko, come here. Go to that half demon, the girl, and try to scare her. Do as I say now.
(After Naoko (wolf) went to Kaede)
What! She was not afraid or angry! She has tamed one of the most vicious wolves in the pack. Maybe I am underestimating her. No, my thoughts will stay the same about her.

Everyone sat and talked about what was happening and they ended up deciding that Kouga and his small pack would come and get in touch with another tribe of wolves to get them to help. Kaede listened to the conversations from time to time, but was more interested in Kisho. Every time she tried to make eye contact with him, he looked away. And every time she tried to send him a friendly smile, he just returned a mean look. The whole time she tried to at least be nice to her but it was no use. She finally gave up and looked to the ground, almost in defeat. Kagome with her keen eye was watching this most of the time and felt sad for her daughter. Finally when night came, everyone decided to sleep in the cave.
Late into the night, Kaede woke. She looked to the cave opening and stood to make her way out. She looked back to hear a grunt. It was Yumi. She was yawning but she didn’t open her eyes. She just snuggled up to Yukio and smiled. Kaede smirked then left out of the cave. Meanwhile, Kisho saw Kaede leave with his one eye open.
Kisho’s P.O.V
Where is she off to now? She doesn’t know the dangers around these parts.sigh well I better go after her. She’ll probably get herself killed if I don’t. Stupid girl...

Kisho followed far enough to see Kaede but not too close so that she could smell him. She finally found what she was looking for, a hot spring. She was about to undress when she heard a tiny rustle in the leaves behind her, so she decided to just roll up her pant legs. She dipped her legs in the hot water and sighed. She looked up to the moon, her eyes glittered as she was lit by the moon’s glow. A soft wind blew by her, gently pulling her hair back. Suddenly she hear a buzzing noise. She spun around to see a dozen wasps spying on her. She knew they were Naraku’s and was about to attack. Her surprised expression turned to an angry one, when she saw Kisho come out from the trees and slice all the wasps to pieces. She lifted her legs out of the water and stomped over to Kisho. She shoved him a bit with her hands and yelled,
“What do you think you’re doing out here!”
“What?” he replied, “I just saved you!”
“I don’t need saving! I could have handled them on my own! Why were you spying on me?”
“I wasn’t spying on you I was just out here to make sure that a pathetic half demon like yourself could take care of herself!” Kisho screamed. Kaede’s eyes dropped down in sadness. She turned around and jumped up into the large tree by the water. Kisho hung his head in sorrow. ‘Way to go Kisho,’ he thought to himself. He jumped up into the tree and saw her sitting looking out to the scenery through the huge gap in the tree. “Listen, Kaede, I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to say that,” he apologized. Her gaze was still focused on the scenery. “Isn’t it beautiful,” she whispered, changing the subject. There were trees and rolling hills of greenery. As well as little villages that could be seen here and there. Kisho looked out as well and whispered, “You’re very beautiful,” his face turned all red as he recalled what he had just blurted out. She turned to him and smiled, she had red cheeks since she was embarrassed by the compliment as well. “That’s...” she said, “the nicest thing anyone has every said to me,” He looked up to her and smiled. “So, are you going to stay up here all night?” he asked curiously. “Maybe,”she replied. He looked away when he said, “Well, I’ll be at the bottom of the tree if you need me,” She smiled and before he jumped down she said, “Kisho?” he turned to her as she said, “Thank you,” He smiled the cutest smile ever then jumped down to the base. Kaede sighed and leaned back against the tree.
Just as the sun was starting to rise, Kaede awoke. She looked down to see Kisho sleeping there. She jumped down beside him and leaned against him. With her head resting on his shoulder. He woke right when she closed her eyes, and he placed his hand on her hand and fell back asleep.
Kisho opened one eye and frowned. He wanted to stay there, in that spot forever with Kaede. He looked over to her sleeping face and smiled. He stood, and picked her up in his arms gently. She moved around a bit, but then snuggled into his warm hold. Kisho flushed, then ran as fast as he could towards the cave. He slowed down when his home came into sight, and placed her right near the entrance. Before he could even stand up straight, he was grabbed at the shoulder and dragged out into the forest. “What the hell?” Kisho said turning around to see a very angry father named...InuYasha. Kisho went as white as a ghost. He had never been more scared in his whole life. “Just what the hell were you doing with my daughter?” Kisho backed up, scared of what InuYasha might do. InuYasha groaned then cracked his hands (you know how he does that lol). “Tell me now...or my Tetsusiega will help you remember!” InuYasha threatened. Kisho uttered, “No...no..nothing! Honest! She was just upset with me cause I um..” InuYasha held a claw to his neck and frowned. “It’s cause I called her a half breed!” He screamed, fearing that InuYasha might injure him. InuYasha looked away and frowned saying, “You idiot. She’s really sensitive when it comes to that. More sensitive than me!” Kisho sighed then replied, “If it makes you feel any better, I said sorry to her. And then she slept in a tree while I slept at the bottom...making sure she was ok,” InuYasha smirked. But his smirk faded into a frown when he yelled, “You better not make her sad and cry, or else I’ll give you something to cry about!” Kisho nodded in agreement and he and InuYasha made their way back to the cave. When they got there, they saw everyone awake, busy with their own things. Kisho was about to make his way over to Kkaede but stopped dead in his tracks, as a scent entered his nostrils. “Oh no,” he said to himself. Kaede saw his surprised expression and was about to ask him what was wrong when she heard Kouga’s name being called. Everyone turned to the opening of the cave to see a group of wolf demons. Instead of having brown fur, though, they had grey. In the middle of the group stood a wolf demon girl. She had long black flowing hair that was tied with a ribbon. She had dark blue eyes and wore a collar like necklace that went around her neck and hung down the front of her chest connecting to her tube top (just wait until you see the picture lol it’s easier that way) with kimono sleeves that were showing her shoulders. She wore a long grey fur skirt, and had a paw print on her forehead, and two on her chest. You could also see a puffy grey wolf tail coming out from her backside. She walked over to Kisho as the leader of her pack talked with Kouga. She winked at Kaede and went and kissed Kisho on the cheek. Kaede was steamed. She marched over to Kisho and the girl. “Uh...hello,” the girl greeted, annoyed. Kisho pused the girl away and looked to Kaede saying, “Kaede, this is Kara. She’s the grey wolf’s pack leader’s daughter,” Kara smiled the most fake smile you could ever see. “Kisho is my mate!” Kara exclaimed. Kaede felt her heart break, piece by piece into a thousand pieces. But her thoughts were driven back to Kisho, who grabbed onto her hands gently and whispered, “She’s not my mate. I don’t have feelings for her,” Kaede smiled but growled low when Kara ripped him away from her. She looked over to Kisho and said, “I’ll talk to you after,” Kisho smiled as Kaede walked away. Kara frowned and her eyes glistened a red passion.
Kaede sat sharpening her Teshiega with a rock, minding her own buisness, until a certain jealous wolf demon princess, came strolling along in front of her. Kaede looked up to her and smirked. Kara bent down to meet her level and smirked back. “Listen...what was your name again?” she started to say. “Kaede,” she replied quickly. “Well, Kaede. I just want to let you know, Kisho is mine, and I’m not afraid to fight for him,” she stood up and started to walk away but stopped when she heard Kaede call her. She spun around to Kaede who replied, “Good. Cause I never back down from a challenge,” Kara scowled at Kaede’s remark and at her smirk. When she left, Kaede sighed and leaned onto the cave wall saying to herself, “What have I gotten myself into?” From the big boulder beside her, three heads popped up. Sango, Yumi, and Kagome smiled. Kaede turned to them and snickered. “You’ve been there the whole time haven’t you?” Kagome smiled, and her and the other two ran to Kaede’s side. They smiled like little school girls as Kagome said, “You gotta fight for him, Kaede!” “Ya! Show that prissy canine who’s boss!” Yumi and Sango exclaimed. Kaede asked what she should do and they all smiled evilly at her. They stood, and dragged Kaede outside into a near by bush.
“Where’s Kagome and the rest of the wenches?” InuYasha asked, aggravated because they had been gone for so long. All the men, and woman counting Kara, were all ready to leave to hunt for Naraku. Yumi and Sango came back and acted like nothing was wrong. Kagome stepped out with her daughter by her side. All the guy’s eyes widened at her sight, even InuYasha!(But he was just surprised with the way she looked) Kaede wore a long green skirt, with her hair dun up into a ponytail with white hair holders in the front pieces of her hair. Kaede blushed and ran to Kisho’s side. She nudged him away from Kara, who was steaming red, and hooked onto his arm. She walked along side with him. Everyone was still in awe, but Kagome clapped her hands together and announced, “Well let’s get going, shall we?” She started forward, and everyone followed. Kara was at the end burning up and thought to herself, ‘That puppy’s gunna be more of a hassle than I thought,’ she then followed behind.
The heat from the fire warmed everyone sitting by, the slightest bit, but the cool fall breeze chilled them. Kaede sat beside Kisho by the fire. She sat with her legs folded to the side, because her skirt didn’t permit her to sit cross legged. Everyone sat silent, none talking for a while. Ayame stared around, and broke the silence. “So,” she started to say, “Kagome, so you’re a priestess now I see,” Kagome looked up to the wolf girl and smiled replying yes. “So what happened to that priestess Kikyou...the one you’re the reincarnation of, Kagome?” Kouga asked with not even a little bit of sympathy for InuYasha. Kagome was about to answer but InuYasha butted in saying, “Poor Kikyou. She was deceived by Naraku once again and tricked into trying to kill Kagome and I. She also tried to kill Kaede, but...Kaede killed her,” InuYasha frowned and cursed silently to himself. Kaede looked up to her father and her eyes started to water, upset with the fact that he had blamed her for trying to save his life! She growled silently and stood giving her father a mean look and stomping away. “Baka!” Kagome yelled at InuYasha. She stormed off after her daughter, upset with InuYasha for blaming Kaede and also because she was upset with InuYasha still having feelings for her. “Uh,” InuYasha said silently. Kisho looked over to InuYasha and frowned. He knew it was none of his business, but Kaede was practically his whole life now, and he was upset with how her father neglected Kaede’s feelings.
“Kaede wait!” Kagome cried to her grief-stricken daughter. Kaede turned around and frowned yelling, “Why? Why does he say such stupid things! And most of all, why does he treat you like you’re second best!” Kagome lowered her head and sighed as tears streamed down her face. Kaede stopped and turned around to her. “Mom,” Kaede reached out to her mother, but Kagome just took a step back and frowned. Kaede ran over to her mother and hugged her while Kagome cried onto her shoulder. “Kaede,” Kagome pushed gently off of her daughter and sniffed trying to unclog her nose from what had built in it from her tears. She looked into Kaede’s eyes and sniffed again saying, “Kaede, your father means well, it’s just he can’t forget the past. I know it hurts...a lot, but he just doesn’t have the power to forget about her. Every time she is brought up, I notice a glint in his eyes, that I never see when he’s around me. So I try to learn to cope, but it’s so hard when someone you love still loves another,” Kaede brought her mother into a heart felt hug and sighed whispering that it would be all right.
InuYasha stood, heartbroken. He had heard everything that Kagome had said to Kaede from behind a nearby tree. He slouched down and frowned as he heard Kagome say she wanted to be alone. As Kaede left she walked by InuYasha and peered over to him and scowled. She started to walk off again, but was stopped by InuYasha who had jumped in front of her, in an attempt to halt her. Kaede frowned and tried to push by him, but InuYasha stood his ground and brought his daughter into a hug saying, “I’m sorry, Kaede. It’s not your fault, I’m just still caught in the past,” Kaede pushed away from him and growled replying, “That’s your problem dad! You’re caught in the damn past! I bet you didn’t know that mom cries when she’s alone, knowing that you are thinking about that damn dead priestess!” InuYasha was shocked by how angry his daughter could be. Kaede held her hand to her head and sighed. InuYasha lowered his head and a tear rolled down his cheek. Kaede shadowed over him and slouched under his face so she could see her father. She hugged him and started to cry as well saying, “Dad, I love you so much,” InuYasha wrapped his arms around her as well and replied, “I love you too, Kaede. And it was not your fault about what happened with Kikyou. You tried to save your mom and I. And I love you so much, for that,” Kaede looked up to him and smiled. She gave InuYasha a family kiss on the cheek and smiled saying, “You have to make up with mom now, go,” InuYasha smiled and kissed her back on the forehead. InuYasha ran to go and find Kagome.
Kaede ambled back to camp to find Kisho gone. “Kouga, where’s Kisho?” Kouga opened one eye lid from sleeping and replied, “He left with Kara somewhere near by,” Kaede’s eyes widened. She then frowned and marched off to find him and the boy taker.
Kara’s eyes were as black as the night, and Kisho was in a trance like state. They stood by a cave that overlooked some of the forest. She took his hands and kissed him on the lips. When she broke the kiss, she smirked saying, “Now that you’re under my spell, we’ll show that pathetic half demon not to mess with a girl and her guy,” Kisho just nodded, because he had no say or mind in what he could do. Kara smirked again to him and demanded, “Kaede should be along looking for you any minute now. When she comes, I’m going to say, ‘Kisho I love you,’. Once I say that, you reply ‘I love you too Kara. I told you we could fool that pathetic half demon,’. And then kiss me,” Kara smirked and her eyes grew darker and colder.
Kaede moved through the trees, to a near by cave. She smiled when she say Kisho but frowned when she saw Kara with him. “What the hell is wrong with her eyes?” Kaede asked to herself. She was about to yell out for Kisho, but stopped when she heard Kara talk to Kisho, “Kisho, I love you,” Kisho replied to her saying, “I love you too, Kara. I told you we could fool that pathetic half demon,” Kaede froze, heartbroken as he took Kara into his arms and kissed her. She almost fell back in pain, from the heartbreak of Kisho backstabbing her. “Kisho!” Kaede called to him. Kisho’s eyes went back to their normal emerald green colour, when he heard the voice of an angel...his angel. When he noticed he was kissing Kara he broke the kiss and shoved her off of him. He looked down to Kaede who was frozen, tears streaming by millions down her cheeks. She started to run into the forest, too scared of rejection. Kisho reached out to her but was pulled back by Kara. “She’s history Kisho! It’s me and you again! I love you, and nothing can come between as now,” Kisho (I know the next part is harsh, but it had to be done) slapped Kara and she hit the ground. Kara lay on the cold ground, thinking to herself about what he had just done. “I will never love you Kara! And if you EVER try to blind my thoughts again, I’ll kill you. Now stay away from me,” He then ran off after Kaede.
Kaede started to breathe heavily and started to get drowsy from all of the running. Her tears started to cloud her eyesight, but she rubbed them away, trying to keep her stability. She kept thinking to herself about how much of a fool she was to think that someone appreciated, or even loved her for who she was. She was so tired from running and crying, that she didn’t pay attention to where she was going. She tripped over a rock and was about to fall to the ground but instead, fell into arms.
InuYasha walked over to Kagome silently. He was about to place a hand on her shoulder, when she said from out of nowhere, “InuYasha, I love you so much. Have I said that to you lately?” InuYasha was startled but relaxed and replied, “Yes, I’m the one who needs to say I love you more often. It’s true, I do love you,” He hugged her and then pressed his lips to hers, giving her a romantic kiss. She smiled and broke the kiss for a breath. He smiled back saying, “I love you and no other Kagome. No one, not Kikyou or any other woman compares to my true love for you. I will never leave your side,” Kagome smiled and nestled into his embrace. She had loved him since she first met him, and she was never going to lose him. They stood there, lost in each other’s arms for what seemed like forever.
Kaede looked up into the eyes of Kisho. She sighed and pushed him off of her. She crawled backwards and pouted. He edged towards her and frowned saying, “Kaede, please! You don’t understand! It’s a lie! I don’t love her! I...” He stopped embarrassed by what he was about to say. Kaede blushed as he finished, “I...I love you, Kaede,” Kaede mouth a gap flooded into his arms. He embraced her and they stood there in eachother’s arms. Kisho lifted Kaede into his arms and ran up the mountain into the tree. Kaede stared at the scenery in awe. Kisho glared as well but not at the scenery, but at Kaede. Seh looked back to him and smiled saying, “I love you too, Kisho,” He put his arm around her shoulders and she rested her head on his shoulder. The rest of the night they slept in the tree, with no worries at all.
Kaede’s eyes softly opened to the morning light, that was beaming out from the sunrise. She pushed a stray lock of her ebony hair back away from her face as she peered up from Kisho’s hold to his delicate sleeping features. She smiled to herself, and almost as a signal, his eyes gently opened to her. She sat up straight, holding into the tree limb for support. Kisho looked to her in awe. The sunlight beamed on her perfectly, making her look incredibly beautiful. She looked to him puzzled at what he was looking at. She turned her head slightly around, wondering if it was something behind her. Seeing nothing there, she asked what he was looking at. He blushed brightly and shrugged, saying it was nothing. She smiled bashfully then sighed. “Uh,” Kisho started to say, “I know it’s none of my business, but what happened last night between your family and you?” Kaede looked away and frowned, she then explained to him what had happened. He listened to her every word, interested in her life story. “So why are you searching to kill Naraku?” She asked him, changing the subject to his story. “When my father was a bit older than I was, he faced a terrible demon named Kagura. She killed his whole pack except for Ginta and Hakaku who were with my father at the time. He’s looked for revenge ever since on her and her master, Naraku. Naraku...also killed my only sibling...Usagi. My poor sister was slaughtered by Naraku. And I vowed to kill Naraku for her death,” Kaede placed a hand on his shoulder for consolation. She then smirked and replied, “It looks like he doesn’t have many allies,” He chuckled at the remark. Kaede looked down to her hands then back up to Kisho and said, “Look Kisho...I’m really glad we met. I’ve never really met anyone quite like you,” He smirked then asked if that was a good thing or a bad thing. She grinned then replied, “It’s a great thing,” He smiled and was about to speak, but both their thoughts were interrupted by a wolf’s howl. Kisho sighed, then jumped down to the ground with Kaede still in his arms. He hoisted her onto his back, and she took a tight hold onto his shoulders. He jetted for where the cry was heard, leaving dust behind them.
When they arrived back at the resting area, everyone was getting ready to leave for Naraku’s castle. A handful of wolves peered to Kisho and rushed to his side, howling lowly to him as a form of communication. Kaede stood, dumbfounded at what they were talking about. Kisho frowned and looked to the pack of grey wolves that lounge, licking their chops with an obvious look of content to their faces. Bones were set around them, signifying that they had eaten. Kisho marched over to the canines, and shoved them away from the extra food left. Kisho’s wolf pack scurried over to the food and started to devour the game. Kisho walked back to Kaede’s side happily. She looked up to him, puzzled at what had just happened. Kisho smirked at her expression and explained to her that the wolves in his pack hunted for the food for a while only to have it eaten by the other pack’s wolves selfishly. “And where have you two been?” Ayame asked suspiciously. Both teens looked to Ayame, about to give an explanation, but were interrupted by a irritating voice, “I know where they were,” green eyes glistened in the dark shadows. Kara stepped out from the darkness and smiled slyly. “They snuck away from here to go have se-,” A hand came forward, with nails scraping the side of her face. Kara was taken back from the slap, and held her wound in ache. Kaede’s finger nails dripped with the slightest bit of blood, from the wound she had given Kara. Kara, embarrassed and upset at the same time, backed away and fell onto one of her wolf demon companions. “That’s it!” Kaede shouted, “We didn’t go off to do that! And Kara knows it! I know you’re upset because Kisho wants to be with me, but give it up,” Kaede announced with a hint of cockiness to her voice. Mumbles from both wolf tribes were heard faintly. “Let’s get out of here!” one grey wolf demon announced angrily. Kaede gasped silently and peered over to Kouga, who was growling lowly to himself. The grey wolf demon clan, started off, but Kaede shouted for them to wait. All turned around with annoyed looks to their faces. “Listen,” She sighed then continued, “Please stay, we need you all, we can’t do this without you. Your power means a great deal. I’ll make sure Kara gets back to her cave safely. Sango?” Sango looked to Kaede and arched a brow. “Can Kilala take Kara back to the cave?” Sango smiled and agreed, Kaede called for Kilala and Kilala also agreed. Kara looked disgustingly to Kilala, groaning, but hopped on her back. Kilala lifted into the air and out of sight. “Thank you,” Kaede said to the wolf clan for staying. “Where’s InuYasha and Kagome?” Yumi asked to no one in particular. Kaede looked around suspiciously, then realized that they must not have come back from the forest. “I’ll go get them,” Shippou offered, but Kaede refused to let him go, saying she would go and find them.
