cattery is dedicated to promoting cats

truly affectionate
companions and members of the family and, in particular, the
breeding
of Siberians and Maine
Coons. We now have our two litters of
Maine
Coons for the current year and will be working mainly with
the
Siberians for the remainder of 2010. The Siberian is a breed that is hypoallergenic allowing many people that have allergies to cats to accept this breed into their homes. The breed lacks a certain protein in their saliva that when transferred to the fur through grooming becomes dried and airborn. This protein is the allergin that causes the allergy. Both the Maine Coon and Siberian breeds have large bones, presenting a rugged but very gentile animal with a long and shaggy coat that loves people and attention without being demanding. Their good nature and relationship with their human benefactors make them ideal pets. |

| Siberian Retirees We have one neutered blue adult. He was our stud and may go to a home where he can be given a lot of attention to overcome a little reluctance to be part of the family. We only ask the cost of neutering him . |

kitten Born June 26, 2009 He is our stud in training  "Kusin Kir wants you!" Forestwind
Kir finaled in
five rings at the 2009 Montreal show and took Best
LH Kitten in
one of the rings. He is also pictured on the December, 2011
page
of the Great Companions 2011 calendar.
He is now an adult and we hope to enter him in the last NE Region show of the 2010-2011 season. |
