Special rules

• The entry must be a Christmas song. Christmas music is a genre which is normally performed during the time period leading up to Christmas. Christmas songs frequently are the focus of holiday themes directly taken from Christmas, but occasionally they have no content addressing the holiday, and instead focus on wintry themes. (source)
• Non-Christian countries can send songs about their religion, festives, traditions or anything to do with the holiday season (for example: Hanukkah in Israel).
• Songs from the 90's are allowed. Exceptions for songs from the 80's can be made.
• Each song can be presented only once. That means if somebody sends a famous composition like Silent Night, Last Christmas etc., no other player can use that track anymore (we will inform you, if you have to select another entry). Please also tell us, if your entry is a cover of such a traditional song.
• Players might take another country for this non-regular edition, if it is available.
• Participation is voluntary. If you don't send an entry, you are however allowed to vote (the votes of all passive participants will be counted together as "additional jury").
• As in special editions usually less members take part and due to the tight schedule, there will be no semi-final. This also means that there is a limit of approximately 30 entries.
• The winner of ISC Christmas will host the next special edition.

Dates

• November 27th - December 6th: period to send songs
• December 7th: draw of the running order
• December 8th - December 22th: period to send votes
• December 23rd: reprise and results
