For the 3rd anniversary of ISC in October a special edition will take place, where members will select the best ISC-entry of all time. The 27 winners of all past editions as well as 2 wild cards that were chosen in a poll will participate at the "Congratulations" show. Voting will be voluntary for all members.

The first ever International Song Contest was held at the Convocation Hall in Toronto, Canada on Saturday October 30th, 2004. A number of 23 countries participated back then. Today - 3 years later - there are regularly up to 40 countries that are fighting for the ISC-crown. The country with the most victories is Sweden, therefore host of the "Congratulations" show. Ironically that very country became last in the first ISC.

The International Song Contest was founded by Tony from Canada, who managed the contest for nearly 2,5 years. In the early days nobody expected such a big success. This is why the names of the first 3 editions did not include numbers, but months (ISC OCT, ISC NOV, ISC DEC). With the beginning of 2005 a new era began: ISC 2 took place, which was actually the 4th edition, and recently ISC 25 was held, which for the first time saw the Asian continent as host. 27 editions have past, we have seen great winners and sad losers - joy and tears.

We are all looking forward for the next years with this great contest!
