The International Possum Club is a chartered non-profit organization founded in 1987 at Parkers Crossroads, Tennessee. James E. Cupples, known to his friends as Ole Sarge or Mr. Jim, was the founder and first club president.
Each fall this prestigious event, also known as the world's largest possum hunt and possum race, takes place at Parkers Crossroads, Tennessee. It is a two day event of food, fun, music, and laughter. Festival participants can actually go on a possum hunt and race possums caught in the hunt.
The International Possum Club continues to grow by it's down-to-earth simplicity, humor, and the satisfaction of providing much needed charitable contributions to worthy causes.

The Possum Festival is an annual event that takes place every year at Parkers Crossroads, Tennessee and is usually around the third weekend in October. Parkers Crossroads, Tennessee is located on I-40 at the 108 Exit and is about half way between Nashville and Memphis. The Possum Festival provides good, clean, fun for the entire family.
