When the two groups, web and digital, came together for the mixed workshop, the
aim was to get people from across the two age groups to meet, to mix, to start
to get to know each other, and to bring together the work and thinking of the
first four sessions which had been held separately.
Three challenging questions were asked to mixed older/younger workshop groups;
1. Study the charts from both age groups and to spot where the MATCHED UP on
a) Older people’s views on younger people
b) Younger people’s views on older people
2. Pick out a couple of views that were SURPRISING from;
a) Older people’s views on younger people
b) Younger people’s views on older people
3. Come up with a positive idea on;
a)Older people having a positive part to play in the
community
b)Younger people having a positive part to play in to
community
The results following on from this workshop were Intergenerational older/younger
poster and the plaque below
