Inspirational Literary Works, LLC is a literary event hosting company based in Bridgeport, Connecticut

Our mission is to promote literacy in the African American community, heighten awareness of critical health and social issues, and serve as a platform and conduit to the presentation of authors (old and new/published and unpublished) to the reading public.

Inspirational Literary Works, LLC is aware of the illiteracy issues that plague our communities that have an effect on how we live our lives day-to-day.  We believe that if we begin by encouraging people to read regardless of their age, they will share the love for reading with others.  In order to address the issue of illiteracy, we are providing a way to help combat it by presenting opportunities to deal with it head on through the venue of literary events.

Each literary event that will be hosted by Inspirational Literary Works, LLC will bring about awareness not only to illiteracy, but will increase public awareness of such critical health issues as HIV/AIDS, Breast Cancer Awareness, or honor our Fathers and Mothers, and help college bound students as they enter the college of their choice.
